What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I slightly misplaced this one, but recently found it (still don't know how it got in my dress socks drawer), so I'm gonna carry it today with a smile. Miller Brothers, 1872-1926.

What a knife! Not gonna even ask how you lost it in a dress sock drawer!

I don’t need a dress sock drawer ~ I threw them all away because I only wear boots.:D

That Valley Forge Knife is so pretty, I love that it has an oversized pin at the bottom even though it’s a jack knife. Very cool.

Thanks, Copperberry. Birdseye pins are pretty nice.

Moments of Oneness

Sublime beauty, Gev.

Stag and Rosewood for me today. :D

Beautiful pair, Ron.

That's an interesting pair, Stuart!:thumbsup::cool: I think I have an Imperial jack virtually identical to that, except the plastic "skin" is gone.

Thanks, GT. Mine's skin is just suspect, too, with a small crack at one end.

I've got this pair in my pocket again.

I can see why, r8shel. Very nice.

A couple of woodies for Wednesday...

Boy, I like those old working knives (and belated congrats to your son), Jeff.

@Leslie Tomville , @SteveC , @Dschal - wonderful wood for a Wednesday'

Carrying these two today, by Alfred Blackwell and Harrison Fisher, respectively

Wonderful old bone, Jack. Simply a pleasure to see.

Congrats, Dylan; those red sawcut 77 Barlows are very attractive!:cool::thumbsup:

Thank you, GT. I generally try to avoid the use of the word, "Grail" as it is a term that is destined to bounce from one desire to another, but I have eyeballed the Red Sawcut 77s for a good long while and I am very happy and fortunate to have been able to acquire one from the recent run.

Dean and Dylan, I admire your sable-and-scarlet pairs!!:cool::thumbsup::thumbsup: Dylan, I strongly urge you to try a canoe! But be careful - somehow I've gone from one to forty examples of the pattern, and there aren't many variations to the pattern, really.

Thanks again, GT. I am sure a Canoe will end up in my collection at some point, I am still kind of kicking myself for not scooping up that Case I mentioned. I am sure another will come around though. I will remember your admonishment and take heed. :D

I've got this pair in my pocket again.

A handsome pair, r8shell. I always enjoy seeing those two together.

This guy is with me today for "Wooden Wednesday".

Beautiful pair Ron
Thanks Stuart! Talking about beautiful my friend, this Miller Brothers is just that and more!!! :D

Ron, do you have any UGLY knives??;) I'm afraid if there was a "beauty contest" between my best knife and your worst, mine wouldn't come out too well! The three above are outstanding!!:cool::thumbsup:
Thank you for the compliment Gary! I don’t use the word UGLY when referring to knives. I prefer the word CHARACTER. ;) You have some beautiful knives also my friend! :D

My computer seemed to crash yesterday so...it's been many hours of back up and investigation ( manual but it needed doing ) If you don't see me for awhile :poop:
