What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Today with me...

Henckel's stainless stockman in dark cocobolo. It's funny, I don't carry this one very often, but every time I pick it up, I think, "Man, is this thing beautifully made!" Perfect pulls, great fit & finish, beautiful polish on the thin, sharp, blades: it's just a real, German gem.

I’ve been looking for one of those since the first time I saw yours and haven’t found one yet! Ran across several of the round end stockman henckels but none of the premium (or square end) ones. Just love those slanted bolsters. And the clip on the main is perfectly placed.

Freak, I agree, and it's the only one I've ever seen. I bought it from Vince off the exchange, but I can't find any info on it anywhere. I'd like to know when it was made, but info is non-existent. It looks like a '90s era knife, but the quality is so high, it could be decades older.

Congrats on a new teardrop just in time for Memorial Day, Dean!:thumbsup::thumbsup: ("Too many teardrops for one heart to be crying..." ? and the Mysterians )

Splendid Backpocket, Gev, and a grand photographic presentation!

Both beauties, Gary. It seems like Case Backpockets are everywhere now!

I gave my Case knives a rest today and took my Blood Red TC Barlow for a trip on the treadmill.

Finished this one up today, so it's in the pocket :D
Started out like this

It's an old omegawerk knife from my grandpa that we found when renovating his workshop. The secondary had a really strange bladeshape(broken off pen maybe?) one of the scales was broken and one of the liners was bent away from the knife. I chose thicker gauge brass for the liners(were 0,something mm and are now 1mm iirc) and smoked oak for the scales (which is a bitch to capture in a photograph). Turned out fine imo, I just hope the pins don't walk themselves out

Great work! Grandpa would approve.
