What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I recently picked this one up off the Exchange, and today I’m taking her out on her first trip in the pocket.

I’m a good few pages behind, but I’ll look through when I get a chance...

My new #56 in Appaloosa for the last few days. Not sure if it’ll be a keeper or not yet. I didn’t get that ‘love-at-first-sight’ feeling I usually get with GEC. I’ll see if I warm to it.

I could love that one easily...just fantastic bone and super pattern !!!

Love the Appaloosa! I got the stag, but still love the looks of the Appaloosa.

Did you make the slip? I like that!

The appaloosa is very nice, I can't deny that!
The slip was made by Paul Hannon on Slicpjoint Collectors UK. It's a great slip, the other side is a coral colour to match the stitching.

I hope I decide I like it. I think I prefer small knives. I really love my #14!

For Stagurday, a Stidham's Knives cigar whittler, based on the Case pattern 91. The blade selection would make it a stockman, in my mind, but both Stidham and Case dub it a whittler. Maybe it's the blade location (2 opposite the main).

Is that a new "Whiskey Barrel" Boker? It looks nice; I have a few of their "Beer Barrel" knives from a few years back.

Today I took a new arrival from England out for fish & chips! It ended up being shrimp & green beans & mac 'n' cheese, but hey...close enough! ;)

Nope another oak stockman had the 4 inch so had to get the 3.5 too. That’s a tasty looking meal
