@Ickythump[/USER] Nice picture of your 2921,as you can see some of the lovely brown in that Utica bone. Mine are dark, almost black.

Thanks! Really liking the Coffin Jack Pattern..these are pretty dark as well..they look black as pitch indoors..they come "alive" in natural sunlight.

Thanks, Half/Stop Half/Stop , These bone covers are beautiful..and the jigging is so well done..Falling in love w/ these black box Winchesters...

Thanks again, fellas

Warm weather continues, so these small, flat and light knives are a joy to carry when dressed lightly. How you dress (jeans vs. light trousers with slash pockets) makes a real difference when choosing daily carry.

Nice knife! What you said about weather and knife carry is how it goes with me. When summer comes, I almost always carry small and light knives. Winter is for carrying those larger ones.

Out hiking the trail today with these two knives.

1916 Camillus Teardrop.

2016 Case Teardrop

I missed out on buying one of those 48s. So many times I was so close to buying one, and then they were gone. Back then, I wasn't interested in owning or carrying a single blade traditional, since the idea of multiple blades of different kinds in a single knife was what drew me to this forum in the first place. Now, it's what I carry more often than not. That stainless elk 48 is "just right" in so many ways.

Definitely a great knife! I’ve told this story before, so apologies to those who have heard it. I bought that 48 just before my son was born in 2012, thinking it might be my last knife purchase ever! Little did I know that it would open up the flood gates...
I generally carry it for his big life events. It accompanied me to one of his school functions today. The w&t isn’t quite what it used to be since his little sister knocked it off the counter one day, but it’s still “just right” it so many ways.

Captivating couple of knives, Todd!:thumbsup:

Remarkable Ram Marbles stockman, @deltaboy !! :cool::thumbsup:

Buck 501 today, cutting apples and opening hot dog packages :)
You (and some others) have me thinking seriously about Knights and Squires and Princes, Heath!! ;) Enchanting desert pics, too!:thumbsup:

Hope everyone has a good week :) Pocketing these two today

God save the Queens, even those round-headed, one-armed Barlow ones!! Rousing Royalty, Stuart!!:cool::thumbsup:

Capital pair, r8shell, the flame on your stag complements the ivory Key Keen Kutter.:cool::thumbsup:

I carried the awesome 77/43 combo all weekend, while I played in the Adirondack Mountains. The 77 still goes everywhere with me, and the 43 is just eminently useful and perfect for outdoor work.

Thanks for the additional info, Steve.:)

Thanks, and those are some real great Carries this week.
Kind of you to say so, sir! :)

Thanks for the happy update on the do-it-yourself fix of your slimline trapper, @HFinn !!:thumbsup:

I do like the SAKs, but that worm groove Colonial "is the bomb"!

Thanks, Stuart; I'll NEVER forget my first. :) (Although I should probably find a duplicate that I can carry without worrying about losing it.)

Thank you for your comments, Gary! To not answer your question, I like both the single blade and two-blade teardrops. I have only 1 of 5 that is two-bladed, so that may be a kind of answer. The four knives you showed today are quite the SAK and camp knife grouping!:thumbsup:

Today, one of each of my knife passions: Teardrop and Barlow. (I have a lot of stock knives, too, but let's not go there.)
Thanks for the feedback, Dean; I have to do a better job of coordinating the components in my rotation schedule. There's often some undesirable redundancy! Passionate pair in your picture!:thumbsup:

Today it's this one. It was my wife's introduction to my knife hobby. ...

Bow before the Ancient of days! ;):thumbsup:

Today, I am carrying my Beer Scout Knife. The reason is simple. It was my grandmother's favorite knife in my collection! ... She passed away yesterday. At the house her and my grandfather built. With loved one surrounding her. What a remarkable woman.

Sorry for your loss, Taylor. I lost my grandmother to cancer also, about 15 years ago. Cancer sucks! My wife is currently battling breast cancer. I can tell you first hand, it's physically, emotionally, and financially draining. Be grateful for all of the memories that your loved ones leave you with, and thankful for time spent with those still in your life. -Lance
Sincerest sympathies to you and your family for your loss, Taylor.
Praying for you all, and also for your wife and you, Lance. Tough times.

Tried to post photo, not very good with technology. Current favorite is a Case amber bone stainless steel trapper. I usually alternate with a Case CV mini trapper. Sometimes carry both.
Welcome to The Porch, @Prester John !! :) Couple of capable knives you're carrying!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
