What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Today, I am carrying my Beer Scout Knife. The reason is simple. It was my grandmother's favorite knife in my collection! She loved the color of the jigged bone and always commented on it. She was the first person I would send a picture to of a new knife arrival. "Oh boy another one?!" Is what she would say. And then she would comment on how beautiful it was. She fought cancer like a grizzly bear, and charged it head on. She passed away yesterday. At the house her and my grandfather built. With loved one surrounding her. What a remarkable woman.

My condolences, Taylor. How wonderful that she shared your enthusiasm.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes and condolences. She was just a selfless person and I will think about her everyday. She was all about family, food and a good laugh. @The Fort prayers going to you and your wife. My Grandma had small cell lung cancer. She was diagnosed about a year and 7 months. She battled it. In my mind she didn't lose the battle. This was a view from her porch.

I want to thank everyone again! It is truly appreciated!

So sorry to hear about your grandmother, Taylor. Please accept my condolences. I think she picked a great knife to be a favorite...I'm in total agreement on the color.

Sometimes you get a knife that just clicks in every way. This one is incredible, rams horn Zulu by Andy Fannin. First time I have handled a knife by him and I sure hope not the last.

That’s a beauty! He is making me a Zulu right now, can’t wait to get it in hand and see his work first hand. I actually saw this one on Instagram and thought about asking if he would sell.

Another beauty Drew. Zulu is becoming my new favorite.

Did you mod that blade or are my eyes playing tricks on me because of the patina?
