Thank you for the compliment, GT. I think I've seen the Marbles Lady Leg before but I must comment on the wonderful scrimshaw, it is beautifully done!

Thanks for all your encouragement, Dean. :) Your pic of the chestnut jigged teardrop is the first I remember in a doctor's office!! :thumbsup::cool::cool:;)

my canoe this week is a gigantic Rough Rider Christmas canoe,

Thank you, Gary. The doctor's office knife shot was a spur of the moment and because I was bored.

So how big is your Christmas canoe?

Superb pair! :thumbsup::thumbsup: (Is the Ulster new-to-you, Ron, or is my memory worse than I thought?)
Thanks for the compliment Gary! :) I bought 5 old Barlow’s from Lloyd on the exchange several months ago. The Ulster is one of that bunch. This makes the second one I have shown. Hey, I have to show a surprise every once in a while. That way everyone won’t get bored looking at my knives! ;)

Monday? More like Lifetime ;)

I've been on this Forum a while, but I don't believe anybody has posted a picture of a more remarkable and overpoweringly interesting knife for years! :cool: It's certainly in a Pantheon of Knife Gods...

Thanks for letting us glimpse, Will
Wow thanks man that’s a serious compliment, I really appreciate it!! Lots of much nicer knives around here for sure!

Glad you have some Hav-a-Tampa memories, Stuart. :cool:
Jack, I hope you're getting paid some overtime for your 16-hour day! :eek:
Thanks for all the Case stockman support, Stuart & Josh & Ron & Jack. :)

Peerless knife for a gentleman such as you, Gev!! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I admire that attitude, Perry, and I can see why you'd apply it to THAT knife!! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Y:eek:WZA!! Incredible knife, kai76 kai76 !! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Congrats, Ken! :thumbsup::cool::cool: I'm sure that tortoise shell stockman makes you (and me) happy, but the critter behind it does NOT seem pleased! ;)

High-class knife, @Chief ! :cool::thumbsup::cool: I keep hearing that good stag is getting hard to find; is that also the case with 3rd cut stag? Very attractive covers!

Thanks for the Alox admiration, David, and for that "before" shot of your ax heads. :thumbsup::):cool: I'm no ax aficionado, but I've seen them shaped like the one on the right, and the one behind in your photo, but the shapes of the Chip Chop and Severquick were new to me. That Joker is a champion knife! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

Thanks, Ken and Joshua. :) Ken is right on the money in IDing the material used for the bear. :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Kudos to you, @cigarrodog ! Great story! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

:D Thanks for the info, Jeff. :thumbsup::)

I can see why you post pics of that one almost every day, Paul!!! :thumbsup::cool::cool::thumbsup:

Thanks for all your encouragement, Dean. :) Your pic of the chestnut jigged teardrop is the first I remember in a doctor's office!! :thumbsup::cool::cool:;)

Beauty, Wayne! :cool::thumbsup::cool: With the yellow handle and single blade, you could call that knife Amarillo Slim! :rolleyes:

W:eek:W, Ratbert, that's a standout specimen!! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup: Did it come with such a polished swedge on the spey blade? :cool::cool:

Hope no one was seriously hurt in your truck flip, Paul! :eek::( Congrats on the Boys knife! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup: When I was a boy back on the farm, we'd have never been allowed to use that chain set-up, since as you say, it could get caught on lots of stuff, including PTO shafts! :eek::thumbsdown::thumbsdown:

Spaten, Steve, and Stuart, that's some magnificent Case red bone you've posted!! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Classic pair! :cool::thumbsup:

Nicely-matched red RR pair! :thumbsup::cool:

Intriguing pair! :cool::cool: (I have some very nice knives, but that Richards "moves" me. I think I'm genetically predisposed toward the Imperials, Colonials, Richards, and Rough Riders of the world. :rolleyes:)

Superb pair! :thumbsup::thumbsup: (Is the Ulster new-to-you, Ron, or is my memory worse than I thought?)

Well-said, Travman, and also a pair with praiseworthy patina! :cool::thumbsup:

Splendid red/black pair! :thumbsup::cool:

My schedule this week has too many big knives. Besides the Case 6347 I posted yesterday (not a small stockman), my canoe this week is a gigantic Rough Rider Christmas canoe, my international knife is a Spanish "Laguiole hunter", my official "big knife" is a Mercator Black Cat, and my stag knife is a 5" Marbles lady leg knife! :confused::rolleyes:

Thanks for the compliment @5K Qs! I’ve admiring those Mercators for a while now, but I’m worried they’re too thin. How does it feel in hand?

I’m carrying this Böker barlow today.

W:eek:W, Ratbert, that's a standout specimen!! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup: Did it come with such a polished swedge on the spey blade? :cool::cool:

Thank you, Gary. All the blades on the Case are highly polished. I think that the angle of the swedge on the spey just caught the light’s reflection and made it pop.

As always, you are very kind with your compliments!

My 4 line Camillus EO, which is WW2 production has no number, though I suspect it was a 33 pattern.
Is it possible that govt contracts did not get stamped 33?
The earliest Camillus catalogue that I found was 1946 which showed the Camillus 33 as an Easy Open with a Spear & Pen and without a Bale . There is a Camillus 33 thread , as you know , and in it @leghog said that Brass Liners were a sign of Pre WW II or Early War II . Mine has the Brass Liners . I would hope that anyone having additional info would chime in please . And did they put Bales on the ones mad for the Military .

Happy Tuesday, folks.

I have these two with me today.

I doubt I'll see any financial gain GT, but I was glad to get the piece done :)

Thanks pal, I have a lot of Richards knives, and should carry one more often :thumbsup:

Enjoying seeing the new Ancients ;) :thumbsup:

I've been carrying this one for a few weeks steady now . It is definitely comfortable in the knife pocket of the cargo shorts.

A Primble Barlow and my OO 73 Scout will be my choices for today while we prepare for the fifth straight day of storms! :eek:
