Have a tolerable Monday folks!
I spent a little time with this new Laguiole, and decided it's a keeper.
Put my own edge on it this morning, checked it out and into my pocket it goes.
How does this knife feel in hand? Length? Maybe similar to a GEC #48 weasel?
I've been interested in one for a couple of years now.
I have one of the pipe tools at home (which was a gift) and it's quite small.

Hey Del, This one is small at 3.5". It feels good in hand, no hot spots that I've noticed. It's a very slender knife, very well made and just about disappears in my pocket. It'll be a light duty knife for me. Very thin flat grind on the blade, a real slicer.How does this knife feel in hand? Length? Maybe similar to a GEC #48 weasel?

It’s a bit on the beefy side when compared to say a GEC 77, but it fills the hand nicely. Plus, you can’t beat older Case red bone.

Thanks, Dylan. About the newest Ancient TC, I hope you are able to find one. If I had another one, I'd sell it to you. As you said it is a knife that speaks to you (and me)! I knew when I first saw it that I would be carrying it with no worries. It is not a safe queen.
I like your "little ones." Black and red seems to be a theme.
I appreciate the sentiments and the compliment, Dean. I think that the rather large production run this time around might be in my favor but that will remain to be seen. I am a patient man (usually) and I always hear that good things come to those who wait. But yes, by all appearances, a very fine knife and one that Charlie should be immensely proud of, I look forward to the time that I might have one in hand.
