Okay Gev! ;) Enough of the teasing, now let us see and know more about this beauty! :)

Wife brought in mail, handed me a box, was sure it was another knife. Didn't have anything on the way so was all innocent and opened it in front of her. joeradza joeradza Alan had sent me this killer wind-up Porsche!!! Thanks for such a thoughtful and beautiful gift! My wife was blown away … she learned a valuable lesson today. Thanks Alan.

Chief Chief great photos John. I had several of the Schuco wind up cars when I was a kid, got them when we vacationed in Daytona. They were very fast

I'll fill my pockets with different knives tomorrow, but here are a couple I've carried for the past week that I don't think I've posted yet.
Peanut-ish Knife of the Week is this Case mini copperhead in navy blue bone:

Those are all great looking knives, Gary, but your mini copperhead is the cat's meow!

The Sow braved the heat with me today on the road

That's a great way to frame the rugged beauty of your Sowbelly, Gev!

I keep forgetting what day it is! :D

Have a good week folks

Most excellent stag, Jack!

Have a tolerable Monday folks!
I spent a little time with this new Laguiole, and decided it's a keeper.
Put my own edge on it this morning, checked it out and into my pocket it goes.

When I first read you post, I thought it said "Have a terrible Monday." Either my eyes or my brain isn't working!

Gary, your Laguiole is very classy looking and it passes the tomato test!

They really knew how to jig bone; actually, the entire knife has that classic look of Schrade quality! As for the hornet, I just don't know how you do such gorgeous shots like that, Gev!:thumbsup:

Today, I carried the 2015 BladeForums double-ended jack.

Lots of great looking knives again today !

I haven't carried this one in a while so it's getting pocket time today !

Having perused the auction site for bone Camillus barlows, I know how hard it is to find one with such full blades. Great knife right there, sir!

Have my old Taylors Eye Witness in my pocket today since today is a workday . Got my Cane back from one of the Grandsons , who did some scribing on it and I decided to inlay a few Nickels into it .

Harry

You have some wonderful knives, but in the end, they are only things to possess temporarily. But to have a grandson who cares for and respects you like that is a true blessing.

That's a sinuous slicer, Gary.

This big fella today

I see what you did there. Knice knife, Knick.

Thanks Stuart! That BBW Toothpick is a slick looking knife! :)

Thanks, Ron. You got me started down that path.

I haven't carried this one in a while so it's getting pocket time today !

Very, very fine showing today, Steve. I had hoped that you had toned it down, but, ah, no . .

same one
Holds and takes an edge very easily

That's a handsome old Case. Thanks for sharing it, as I know that you enjoy it. Nothing like an honest old knife in your pocket.

That's a piece of work, Harry, and I mean that in the most complimentary manner. What a prize!

Seriously stunning Schrade, Gev. Thanks for sharing it. That, too, must be a treat to carry show.

Today, I carried the 2015 BladeForums double-ended jack.

A gentleman's gem, Dean. Simply elegant, as well as, elegantly simple.

That's funny, Dean! When I was working, Mondays were at the best tolerable and at the worst terrible! By Tuesday I was usually back in the groove.

That's my benchmark on a slicer like this.

That's a sinuous slicer, Gary.

I was surprised how thin the blade is, Stuart. Pictures leave a lot of room for imagination. I don't think I'll be sharpening tent stakes with it, but it'll come in handy at all the daily knife stuff and is sure going to slice some bread and salami and cheese and tomatoes. Now I'm hungry! It sure is purty too!

Thank you so much for the kind compliments, fellas, and my apologies for the late acknowledgement.

I appreciate the sentiments and the compliment, Dean. I think that the rather large production run this time around might be in my favor but that will remain to be seen. I am a patient man (usually) and I always hear that good things come to those who wait. But yes, by all appearances, a very fine knife and one that Charlie should be immensely proud of, I look forward to the time that I might have one in hand.

A terrific pair of stag today, Jack!

I have this one in my pocket today, though I did take the picture over the weekend on my latest wilderness outing.

I ended up loving my Dom so much, I snagged a Shuffler when the chance arose. These knives make for fantastic users. The texture on the Bocote feels a lot different than my Ebony, I like it! It's hard not to love that clip too.

I've been meaning to ask. Is "Dom" short for something?

I've been meaning to ask. Is "Dom" short for something?

I've asked that very same question and no one seemed to know if it was. I thought it'd be short for something as well, but as of yet, I haven't learned anything that verifies that.

Unless you didn't know about the Lion Steel Dom, which is a knife. Imagine the clip in my picture with a Sheepsfoot instead, that's the Dom.
