What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

TC just kicked tascosa out of my pocket. Life is good on the 25th of July.

So many fine knives so beautifully displayed. Half/Stop Half/Stop your fine looking Case gave me an idea for my carry today. I've been house-bound by the monsoon settled in the East Coast that I have few guns left to clean or knives to sharpen, so I decided to tackle a long delayed task - turn 250 feet of 3/4" nylon braid climbing/rappelling rope given to me by a buddy into some useful lengths to keep in the truck box, hunt camp, and boat house. I'm cutting, fusing, and whipping the ends today with this Schrade Walden model 163.

Stuart that's a grand ole Schrade. You don't see many with the serrated edge! :thumbsup:

Auspicious pair with beautiful covers, Ron! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup: Be careful out there dragging all the rocks around this week. :confused::thumbsup:
The pile is slowly getting smaller! Very slowly!! :eek: :rolleyes:

Stuart, you're pulling plenty of pretty pocketknives from that purported pearl pit, pardner; that one is awesome! :cool::cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

That's a totally toothsome toothpick, Stuart!! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Knives for me this week include a silver Alox Classic (thanks, Ken), a red celidor Tinker, and a Valox Cadet (thanks, Clay)

Thanks, GT. I'll post a pic of the pit when I get to the bottom. Each of your trio is tempting, but that 303 catches the eye (at least mine).

Happy to have one of these. New arrival.

That old Case would make me smile.

Stuart that's a grand ole Schrade. You don't see many with the serrated edge! :thumbsup:

Thank you, Ron, for taking time from the rock pile to comment. The 163's still cutting away at that rope.

Haven’t posted in a while due to life/general business but I am going to try to check in more often. Great stuff today! I have these two onboard and haven’t had the opportunity to cut anything yet :).

I've been missing your little Barkies, Tom! I haven't cut anything today myself. It's still early though!
