Nice knife! I like that blade etch. What brand is the knife? I can only make out "Rooster" on the tang.

I posted some detailed pics of "Stretch" Schrade in the Schrade sub-forum. I still don't know what it is, but I'm pretty sure it isn't a sawed-off muskrat.
Turns out it's a type of muskrat, model 7803 3/4. Not modified. Thanks to the Schrade guys.
Called a Sportsman, according to @Codger_64 twelve and a half years ago.
He probably knows what the blade etch said.
