What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Interesting! Here, cash is being rapidly suppressed: cash machines becoming very rare, banks open very limited hours, can't pay utility bills in offices cash or card, auto checkouts in supermarkets are card only, tills often have limited change so paying cash can be out, people paying with phones. I don't like it.....at all:mad: Then people wonder why cybercrime is exploding...ID theft and all your savings could vanish- or be confiscated by a govt. during a 'crisis'

That said, all my GECs were paid online with paypal..:D But if there were a local shop selling such stuff....:D:D

Don't like it at all either (the getting rid of cash--not happening as rapidly here, but it's coming). But I like that knife! Fortunately, I can still buy knives at many local shops, and I can still pay by cash or check.

Otter has some really nice products. One I have been looking is the Hippe-kniep (Sodbuster) with either black hardwood or oak handle. Really tempting. I had the Case Sodbuster and while I liked the blade, the plastic handle not so much. Carbon steel vs. stainless by Case. They also have the one in my picture in smaller size and several new products.

Yes, a good company :) Currently, the only one I have is the Webermesser, a gift from @Humppa

Speaking of food! I'm off to Denny's this morning to meet my brother for breakfast. I'm toting two knives, a Boker large Stockman in Rosewood and a Wright's large Lambsfoot in Stag! :D

Hope you have a great breakfast Ron :) I went out for breakfast too, but I'm not sure the painful walk to a place with overpriced, mediocre food staffed by hipsters more interested in bromancing each other than their customers was worth it!

Nice choice of knives my friend, plenty of blade options there :)

It may be inevitable, but I'm resisting. I refuse to go to "cashless" restaurants. If they don't want my money, I don't want their food! When I cash a check at the bank, the teller often tells me that I can deposit it with my phone. I point out that, sadly, my phone does not spit out cash, and besides, I wouldn't want to put her out of a job. :p Yes. I am a curmudgeon.
As for r8shell r8shell 's yellow on the Imperial, you can write your initials on it with a sharpie. Or other mystic runes.
Oh, that makes sense.

Thanks for the compliment on my knife choices! It's true, a lot of blade options. Your carry choices for today are top notch as well. It's hard to beat those two! :)
I had a good breakfast! My brother actually paid! I can't remember the last time that happened! Must have been because it was at Denny's and not Cracker Barrel! :D Sorry about your painful meal! :( Our food was good and the waitress was nice, however, she was not the sharpest knife in the drawer, if you catch my meaning. It was nice to visit my brother, we don't get together near enough!
