I love the knives, young lady, both of them. Mighty fine.
But I'd pick up one of those rocks and smash that little gremlin. He's got a real evil look in his eye.
Please don't tell him I said that, I don't want him to visit me in my sleep tonight.
That was my HSB Cattle Knife either helping or hiding, I'm not sure which.Did you realize that rascal has another of your knives tucked away among the rocks?![]()
Thanks Stuart!Good choice, Nick, very good.

I’ll try my very best not to let you down GT!Nick, I've really been enjoying your Amazing August knife selections, but worry a bit that you'll switch to So-So September knives at the end of this week!

Had the Camillus #69 Stockman with me at work.
You've got some special vintage knives, Steve, but this one...
I gots the lust.
Trying to decide what my Free Choice Knife of the Week will be for the coming week.
Case mini copperlock (thanks, Leslie)?
Thanks Stuart!How was the fishing?

Exquisite stag pair, Jack!
I like that plan, but my enthusiasm is diminished when I realize that many knives older than I am look better than I do.
Beguiling brace of red/white Barlows!
Alan, each of your posts makes me think I'm looking at my favorite among your knives, but then your next post causes me to reconsider.
That's an impressive knife!!
I admire (and fully understand) your commitment to that knife, Gary!
Suggesting the start of Stallion Saturday, John??Enchanting knife!
Impeccable Imperial, Steve!
The allure of Alox is hard to resist!
Striking stag, Ron, that reminds me of hot cocoa or a chocolate malted!
Bartender, I'll have another Remington on the Rocks!!
How "mini" is a Case muskrat, Dean? That red is nice, and I like the muskrat pattern much better today than I did a couple of years ago!
That's a dandy, deluxe duo, Randy!(I don't recall seeing Jake around The Porch for quite some time.
)
Thanks for the support, Dean.
I appreciate your kind remarks, Jack.
Thanks for the reply, Harry.Keeping the grass green is pretty good; our front lawn has been crunchy for a couple of months.
THAT'S the kind of edge I'd like to get on my favorite knives!!
Nick, I've really been enjoying your Amazing August knife selections, but worry a bit that you'll switch to So-So September knives at the end of this week!
IMHO, Will, that knife should move to the head of the class!!
That's nice of you to say, Jeff, and I and most of us here would sincerely say, "Same to you!"
Wow! Tomato Acrylic is such an accurate description of the cover colors on your handsome knife, Paul!
Will, I hope you can change your situation to get more time in your garden!
Well-matched marvels, Jack!
Cool church pocket dump, Jeff! You've mentioned playing guitar at church; does that glass doohickey indicate that you do some slide stuff??

I see why I invested time in a schedule so I don't have to agonize over so many choices each week!

I reckon this is a decent birthday carry. The bail bothered me, so I removed it yesterday. It went quite alright, I managed not to scratch the bolsters too badly ...

Good job!Bails, shackles etc I don't care for-particularly on the smaller knife. They obstruct things, mess up the bolster and get under the blade when you want to close it
Very nice knife the stainless Conductor

I don’t think you are alone in that assessment of the 44, judging by how many are shown in this thread!![]()
Reading and watching the greatest screensaver there is today
GEC really hit the nail on the head with the #44
That might need a little oil
That's a fine carry on any day, but, Happy Birthday!I reckon this is a decent birthday carry. The bail bothered me, so I removed it yesterday. It went quite alright, I managed not to scratch the bolsters too badly ...

Jeff, "Leaves Of Three Let Be" Ivy or it's first cousin Oak or it's second cousin Sumac has slipped up on me big time!!!I ISKRA ~ Happy Birthday!
We get a lot of help with planting from squirrels and chipmunks. Sometime last fall, an Alvin took some beans from the garden and planted them at the base of a spruce by the driveway, so we had a pole bean there. And yes, we ate them!
This morning as I was getting into the car, I noticed that hiding in the beans , hoping I would not notice, was Mr. Leaves Of Three Let It Be ~ poison ivy.
