What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

With this fine London weather we're having on east coast, the British bloke in Buffalo dress got the nod...needed one who wouldn't flinch, or melt in the rain.

Perfect companion today...although he kept insisting I was driving on the wrong side of the road...he did convince me to pop in for a pint..or two..

Very nice indeed my friend :)

I'm surprised you could understand it :D
Sorry Jack Black Jack Black , I couldn't resist.

LOL! :D I'm glad you highlighted it, I missed the post before! :D

I'm taking tomorrow off, and heading over to the nearby West Yorkshire town of Huddersfield :) Hopefully visiting the local flea-market, and maybe getting a bit of a hike in :) I shall have these two with me (as well as a Vic Alox Electrician in my bag)

Wow. This thread chugs along! Flew out to Denver to spend some quality one on one time with my grandson. Having a great time, but even though the front range of the Rockies is tantalizingly close, not sure if I’ll be able to get up there. Never say never, though.

Brought a small selection of cutlery, and today it’s the wonderful 43.

This is my lil guy helping me get his daddy’s garden in shape. I know, it’s August...but it will be ready in the spring.View attachment 976697Here’s the view to the west...View attachment 976709

I love seeing the young fella working, let's hope he keeps that attitude day by day. :)

Barrett, she is no slouch! Anyway, too large and heavy for the pocket her place is at work! :)
That beer looks weirdo, I hope nothing to deal with the dreadful cream sodas! (last time I drank some was in 1967, am still traumatized ). The knife is :thumbsup::thumbsup:

JP, I have to be honest, I don't know exactly what goes into making a cream stout, but to me that one just tasted like a pretty good stout (and certainly nothing like cream soda!). :D

We spent most of the day with my wife's family, including meeting our new nephew. Part of the day involved family photos with a photographer (one of my least favorite things to do); I'm not sure how those turned out yet, but here are a few pictures I got of Eleanor meeting her new cousin (while my wife held him):

I had my Burlap Micarta Northfield #25 Barlow in my pocket today.

Lovely! Now I know why Eleanor is so pretty!
The 25 will be in my purse today, today is the first game at home (even witha pan they don't locate), hopefully the 3rd half will be merry . Season started ok last week with a fair victory abroad against a newbie.25_SF.jpg (Yes our color home is ... pink!:D)

Um.. I pulled a stupid this morning. Especially for a knife nut. Overslept and in my haste didn't drop the first folder in my pocket:eek: .Needless to say 6 miles from home when I stopped at the local gas station/diner/hardware store( gotta love country life;)) I bought this 34OT. I did already have my buck mesa on my belt, I usually put my belt wallet and phone case fixed blade of the day on the jeans I'll be wearing the night b4.

In my car and in my truck I keep "extras" for those mornings I get out the door with no pocketknife (Buck 110 in car, the truck has a Case Hammerhead). There are also a couple of old Stockman pocketknives in each vehicle as well as a SAK Farmer and a Rescue knife (modern but a gift from a friend). But you recovered well! OH

Happy Labor Day weekend ladies & gents; hope everyone has an enjoyable weekend and can avoid bad traffic. My wife and I have bought a retirement home on the coast so instead of attending the Opening Day Dove Hunt at my gunning club, I'll be heading down shortly to work in the shop building at our new house. Today's project is to build a stouter workbench than what it has now for my reloading equipment - also need to put new seals on the Mansfield outlet valves in the toilets (some are running water internally). I've been carrying one of my Buck 303 Cadets all week, but will add a Case 3318 to my pocket for some variety over the next three days. OH

Can never have too many....

Two things will throw me off for the day, forgetting my wristwatch(happened twice in the last 15 years) and forgetting to put my knife in my pocket. That’s happened a few times, usually because something distracted me or I needed to change what I was wearing before I walked out the door. I tossed a Victorinox in each vehicle and my work briefcase for just that reasono_O

Thanks guys, great idea of keeping a spare. I'm going to put this one in a side pocket of my tool bag, just in case.;)

Today's carry, volunteered to work today to get ahead, house we're in needs extensive renovation. I'm 90% done with patching/replacing busted sheetrock.
Edit: does whitetail deer antler count for stag Saturday?
