I think my hens are on strike too...got 4 eggs this week so far... weather is cooling off in my neck of the woods in California too. Recently I have been dreaming of Blacktails! My wife and I have elected to spend Labor Day weekend with my parents in the flat lands of Ohio. The weather is starting to change and the prospect of hunting season is coming right along. My #73L is getting involved in the mix.

My parents hens are on strike, so this mornings collection was meager.
Move to the head of the class, Alan!
Really radical height-to-thickness ratio on your Kutmaster Pruner, Stuart!![]()
Barrett, she is no slouch! Anyway, too large and heavy for the pocket her place is at work!...
That knife is all bolsters, JP!

Edited to add: Although it's somewhat obvious, I guess I should mention that the knife I was totin' today was the 2016 BF Drover.![]()
Alright, that does it. After a few years of just assuming I would find a nice used lambsfoot, I am going to put some actual effort into it. Great looking knife, Jack. Thanks for the inspiration.
By the way, I have a single cylinder version of the Royal Enfield in your picture. Maybe I’ll get one of the new twin cylinder versions down the road.
I have these two with me on the back porch this morning.

Thanks so much for the happy anniversary wishes Jack!I’ll be sure and show them to Pam. I haven’t heard ole Slim in a long time.
I’ll have to say Jack, that may well be one of the best Stag Lambsfoot examples I’ve ever saw!
You and Ashley did good my friend!
I can hardly wait to see mine!

On a side note, what a beautiful old British Twin.
I’ll pocket this one today to help hold me over until mine arrives! It can keep ole Red company!Have a great weekend!

If you managed to get ahold of those two gems, a Lambsfoot knife will be easy!

I am carrying this thoughtful gift from my friendjoeradza today! Thanks, buddy!

Yeah, don't see many lambsfoots around here. Contemplating whether my next purchase will be a Buck 301, a Case Canoe, or a Sheffield lambsfoot. May have all three by the end of the year. Would have to order the lambsfoot online-- the other two are easy to find.
Two things will throw me off for the day, forgetting my wristwatch(happened twice in the last 15 years) and forgetting to put my knife in my pocket. That’s happened a few times, usually because something distracted me or I needed to change what I was wearing before I walked out the door. I tossed a Victorinox in each vehicle and my work briefcase for just that reason![]()
Thanks, Jack; we returned from our lakeshore idyll on the Ides of August. You're fairly flush with fetching lambsfoots lately!!

That's more positive than what I usually tell them, I'll start using yours!!!I tell my students math helps them make their dreams come true!
Thanks for the Case compliment, Dean.Somewhat scary that our minds share some thoughts, since my first glimpse of your photo made me think it would fit right in with Jack's ever-popular Watery Backgrounds series.
Great photos of admirable knives, Dean.
Multi-thanks, Dean.
Magnificent!
