The wife and I will be heading out the door in a couple of hours for a Labor Day BBQ and I'll be carrying my new Boker Tree Brand Trapper with smooth yellow bone covers in it's new sheath.
Very nice Ed, it's about time you got yourself a new knife!

Thanks, Gary! I got that Clauss Barlow about a year and a half ago; I think I posted it on this thread but can't remember. I do know I posted it on Charlie's Barlow thread. I think we're both old.

Bucking the system this week! Starting today I'll be carrying this trio. With one exception, as I've come to rely on my electrician knives so much at work either the Imperial or Klein will also be carried.

Definitely a traditional fixed blade... I cleaned up/ sharpened/ danish oiled my trusty ole Tramontina 14" Bolo today!

I really like this pattern and size " boys knife " ? and am always thankful to Duncan who sent it to me.
Two bladers are nice, but I can appreciate a good single blade.

I bought it on the exchange last week and when I posted pics the original owner @fishface5 saw it and noted that he modded the blade and also smoothed out the curves of the body. As soon as I got it I saw the resemblance to the Douk-Douk. Here they are together.

That brought back memories of all the cases and declensions and conjugations from my Latin and German days. I'll pass on the tattoo. As I tell my students, my body is a natural work of art and needs no human adornment.

Totin these two again today. Started to get a nice patina on the clip point from cutting apples and pears yesterday. The lambsfoot is laser sharp. Thanks again @traumkommode

, thanks, and really liking that RR stockman, I think the ruby red color RR uses is some of the best around imho. This post has inspired me. I already decided to go with Bucks this week, your RR's inspired me to do all RR next week. And another brand each week this month. Got caught up in my vintage knives I've been neglecting my newer ones.
