I’m not planning on any Labor today! ;) Unless you count opening and closing this A.Wright & Son Rosewood Bigun! :D

Put your feet up Ron! :D

The wife and I will be heading out the door in a couple of hours for a Labor Day BBQ and I'll be carrying my new Boker Tree Brand Trapper with smooth yellow bone covers in it's new sheath.

The name sounds familiar, but I sure don't remember seeing that lovely Barlow before, Dean!:cool::thumbsup: Is it new (or am I old)?

Thanks, Gary! I got that Clauss Barlow about a year and a half ago; I think I posted it on this thread but can't remember. I do know I posted it on Charlie's Barlow thread. I think we're both old. :):D

I like the look of your well used gorgeous bone covered Sodbuster, Jr.:thumbsup:

Yesterday's Stagurday carry

The dark stag on the Northwoods is delectable!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I bought it on the exchange last week and when I posted pics the original owner @fishface5 saw it and noted that he modded the blade and also smoothed out the curves of the body. As soon as I got it I saw the resemblance to the Douk-Douk. Here they are together.

Thanks GT. Your sodbuster is always nice to see!
Thanks, @Dschal. :)

5K Qs 5K Qs thanks, I googled Buck tang stamps its a 2012 model. I also posted it in the newest addition thread with a little story on how I acquired it

Thanks for the movie clip, Jack. :) That brought back memories of all the cases and declensions and conjugations from my Latin and German days. I'll pass on the tattoo. As I tell my students, my body is a natural work of art and needs no human adornment. I like your wood and antler lambsfoot knives standing in solidarity with the labor movement.:thumbsup:;)

I went to the Opinel museum in Savoie, France this summer and bought a No8 Slim Line and had my name engraved in it.

Your rosewood looks rough and ready, Ron!:cool::thumbsup:

Fashionable pair, and just in time!!:thumbsup::cool: Isn't it a fashion faux pas to carry white knives after Labor Day??:D

Alan, you sure have some zesty Zulus to share with us! Thanks!:thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Monday (even if it's a holiday) is the day I rotate my knives for the week. As is often true, I'm carrying several Rough Riders.
My Stockman of the Week is an appealing red jigged bone medium stockman:

Canoe of the Week is a Rough Rider Moon Glow model:

Watch Pocket Knife of the Week is a RR smooth tobacco bone cannitler; the small canoe whittlers are a favorite pattern of mine!

Thanks for one of the keystone knives in the kollection!:thumbsup::) I really like the pics you get from your set-up, and I should try to put something similar together with cold, dark seasons fast approaching!

Thanks GT, love that case sod buster in bone. Yeah that makes winter pics much more comfortable to acquire :).

My SAKs are getting jealous of the Remington scout I have been carrying, so I gave the scout a day off on Labor Day :).

5K Qs 5K Qs , thanks, and really liking that RR stockman, I think the ruby red color RR uses is some of the best around imho. This post has inspired me. I already decided to go with Bucks this week, your RR's inspired me to do all RR next week. And another brand each week this month. Got caught up in my vintage knives I've been neglecting my newer ones.
