2016 #85 with Antique Yellow Jig bone, match strike pulls, corset shield with threaded and pinched bolsters. Lots of bang for the buck

That one does seem to have it all. I have the same knife in a single blade, but missed out on the doubles.

I really like it. Very well made, with outstanding fit and finish. The notch joint works well enough to keep it from closing when using it. It is very light, too. Mike has a good video on his website that shows detailed views of the construction.

It was just a side purchase with the main GEC #71 to just check it out.
I didn't even know what "pocket worn" was.

The knife is a very pleasant surprise.
The bone looks stunning.
Very nice fit and finish (except the edge).
Perfect spring preload and tension.
Smooth action.

This kicked out Queen Country Cousin and will stay in my pocket for a while.

I absolutely love this knife aesthetically, but it has some vertical play in the lock. I have understood that in traditional backlocks this is normal. My Buck 500 Duke is rock solid. Please tell me that it's ok to have some play, because I would hate to not like this knife?

Check out Oeser's hellhound pattern. Very similar in shape to the Dog Bone. BTW, I'm pretty sure Manny is looking to fill a few spots in his book and he also has a very nice Dog Bone available as well. He's on IG, mannys_knives.

You got me thinking about when exactly plastics started being sold for their own properties, rather than only as an imitation of natural materials. The brightly colored celluloid handles and swirly plastic covers aren't faux anything, are they?
