What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Whatchoo talkin 'bout? The pine needles are in sharp focus!:D
Is that the PutAPatinaOnMyKnife knife?

It sure is. Although I did send it on to the next person (Johnny two shoes) today. It got to make wine, lemonaid, several meals, rode in a Ferrari 458 Italian on a track at 145 mph, cut hoses and help build a 33 Ford, and helped clean a property line. Not a bad month for it

Bout to head out to my boys football game.

How do you like it, it's a cheap work knife, about the same as Opinel?
I like it a lot. I highly recommend trying one out, for 10-12 bucks you can't really go wrong.
MAM makes them with and without a liner lock. My only gripe is that they don't make a carbon steel version.
Check 'em out here, he is a bladeforums member and a paid dealer.

Stag and Wood

Aryan, after awhile, we see a pattern develope which reveals how our tastes run. And I like your taste. Modern construction with lots of homage to vintage. The stag is very fine!
:)

I can't wait for frost! It's not because I like the cold; it's because I hate bugs. Years without a hard freeze in the winter means a buggy spring.

Nice! Did you grind and haft it yourself? Good job.

It's Oddball Saturday around here.

Thanks, I did. Long and slow on the belt sander keeping it cool, to get it shaped, then a couple cycles in the oven to temper it so drill bits and files would not just skip off. Once again, the handles are cut from elk antler dog chews from wallymart.
Best thing about a cold snap is bye bye skeeters. We had about 6” of rain on labor day weekend, and exactly two weeks later, had an unbelievable hatch of ravenous bloodsuckers. It was actually panic inducing even after bathing in 100% deet.

Are you trying to start something with Oddball Saturday? Cuz I do have some oddballs!
