What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

A stellar knife !

Still totin' light today with another half congress; this one a Queen City (1922-1932) in Waterfall celluloid. At 3 1/2", it's slightly shorter than yesterday's version, and just as slim.

Candy !

Woah!!!! I love that. The coke bottle pattern has really grown on me. Real nice!

Thank you ! It is simply a gorgeous knife and pattern !! I am over the moon about it. Now where is that Continental Cutlery Co. thread ;):)

EDITED: I can't seem to get the opened knife pic to post. Maybe later.

And another beautiful half congress Stuart!:thumbsup:

Yes, it is GT, they are pretty nice looking little fellas. The only drawback is because of the clawed texture of the scales, if the pin is placed on the ridge it is standing proud.
Thanks for the confirmation, Dave. :) I have a little pen knife from that series:

I had these two with me at a fun family reunion today. The Pioneer X turned out to be the belle of the ball, as no one thought to bring a bottle opener :confused:. I may have converted a couple of people into SAK fans today.
...
And my aunt sent me home with a plate of leftovers for dinner :).

That Pioneer is brilliant, and looks like your aunt supplied some good eating for you, Tom! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

Carrying this one today:

That's a superb Case stockman model, PJohn! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Charming Churchill, FBC! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup: Maybe I'll try to remember to post a Churchill quote every time I comment on a Churchill knife. :rolleyes: "From now on, ending a sentence with a preposition is something up with which I will not put."

Fabulous Forum knife, @Vaporstang ! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

Thanks, GT. Your flashbacks sent me down the rabbit hole, too. I do like your perpetual pair today - what else could one need (as if need was the controlling factor, ha ha hah!).
- Stuart
Thanks, Stuart. :)

Thanks Vaporstang, your forum 85 is one of my favorites. I sold mine, then about a year later the same member contacted me and sold it back to me for what I sold it for:cool: you can't beat the people here on the porch:thumbsup:
Great story, Paul! :):thumbsup::cool:

This needs an airing...and it's a fine autumn day too!

Queen Barehead in ACSB and D2.

I really know almost nothing about fixed blades, but isn't having a barehead stag fixed blade somewhat unusual? :confused: Handsome knife, Will! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Hope everyone is having a great weekend :) Plenty of work to do today, so I thought I'd go with my A.Wright 'Big 'Un'. Have a happy Sunday folks :thumbsup:

Nice, Jack; "go big or go home!" ;):thumbsup::thumbsup:

Stellar sleeveboard 26, @Travman ! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

All Hail, Utica utility!! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

That's a power couple you've posted, Joshua! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

It's Oddball Saturday, again. :p

I just took a walk around the neighborhood, and a visitor posed for a picture with my oddball knife of the week.

You have your butterfly (monarch?) and Gev had his trained ants earlier this week - Austin Entomological Knife Club is still active! :thumbsup::thumbsup::D

Old reliable. Looks good. Cuts good.View attachment 999502
That DOES look VERY good, Alan, :cool::cool::thumbsup: but I'm drawing a blank on what model it is - ebony 99?

Because 2 pens are better than 1
Heart-stoppers, Nick! :eek::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Fancy Sunday carry.
My Sunday carry.

Sunday best for sure, Ken and Dean! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

... this Queen 15 half congress from 1949-1958 period. At 3 1/2" with a single spring, it's light and lithe.

As you can see from the pictures, the weather has turned very pleasant here, so I'm alternately watching football and splitting firewood.
- Stuart
I'm surprised that little beauty, capable as I'm sure it is, can actually split firewood! :thumbsup::thumbsup::D

... I actually looked at some dickies today at wallyworld but they didn't have the color I wanted in my size. Your carry choices are as usual superb this week.:thumbsup: Really liking the senator pattern labsfoot, as it stands out from the handle shapes usually found with a labsfoot to me. Plus the stag is awsome;)
...
Thanks, GT. I think the pattern number clinched it for me. That beautiful foot o'lamb you are totin' clinches a lot of desirable features in one package. Congrats!

- Stuart
Thanks for the encouragement regarding my stag lambsfoot, David & Stuart. :) The store where I got my Dickies canvas carpenter pants has switched to a thinner polyester fabric that "flexes" - I don't like them at all! :thumbsdown:

Thank you for your kind comments, Gary! The copperlock is a mini and the blade coating is black PVD. It is good to see your 2/4 literal EDCs again! :thumbsup:
Thanks for the info and the nod to my EDCs, Dean! :)

Grand pair, Tom; good luck with the Barlow sharpening project! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks GT, it’s very rare Ewok bone!:)
I always liked the shadow buster and yours is a nice one.
...
No doubt rare indeed! :D Thanks for the focussed praise for my out-of-focus SBJr. :)

Ended up switching to this yella Jr. around lunch time. Tacos and sopes !

Both knife and food look irresistible, FBC! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

Thanks GT, I carry the Electrician every day in my satchel, and occasionally in my pocket :) Good to see your Lambsfoot Of The Week, and those two hardy perennials ;) :thumbsup:
...
Have a good week folks :) I'm starting off with these two today - Lambsfoot by A.Wright of Sheffield, Sleeveboard by Croisdale of Leeds :thumbsup:

Thanks, Jack; I like "hardy perennials". :):thumbsup:
Meritorious Monday duo! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Stag/Horn Knife this week is one my daughter got me in Toledo, Spain:
stag.shelf.mark.V.jpg

Obviously, the preceding knife is from outside the US, but my official International Knife this week is a John Watts ring-opener (thanks, Jack):

Thanks GT! It will likely take a few nights for the Barlow, M390 holds a good edge for a long time but can be a bear to re-profile by hand. That ring-opener is super cool :cool: :thumbsup:

For today, two of my most used.
