What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I'm starting off with these two today - Lambsfoot by A.Wright of Sheffield, Sleeveboard by Croisdale of Leeds

That is a seductive shadow sleeveboard, Jack.

I had Mr. Voos and his buddy Bullnose along for the ride.

Well, you have two trusty partners with you, Jeff.

One more day for this one.

Easy to see why, Trav.

This week I’m carrying a little GEC 25 in Polished Stag.

Handy and handsome. all in one small package. Nice!

Well it’s Columbus Day, some sand and water so I figured a stainless Canoe might work well! Y’all have a nice Monday! :D

That's a captivating canoe, Ron. AND, that is one of the largest lakes in all of Tennessee, I would imagine. Which one is that? Kentucky Lake? Guntersville?

Stag for me today too

And a staggering example it is, too, Alan.

Today, my companions will be Mr Voos and Mr Peabody. Named for the blade etch.

What happened to Mr. Bullnose who was riding with you just three hours earlier, Jeff. Tossed by the roadside?

Continental Cutlery Co.

You know that I like those old coke bottle hunters, Gev. That's a nice one. And thanks for the congressional compliment; I finally got the opened knife pic posted.

And another beautiful half congress Stuart!

Thanks, Nick, and your HSB pen and Ulster jack make a potent pairing today.

Camillus Engineers knife

That's all that a knife needs to be and just a bit more, Steve. Nice pic, too.

I'm surprised that little beauty, capable as I'm sure it is, can actually split firewood!:thumbsup::D

Stag/Horn Knife this week is one my daughter got me in Toledo, Spain

Word play well played, GT. Touche'. I've seen a Spanish knife gifted to you by your daughter, but this looks different. New/another/I'm going batty? That is a very fine looking knife, and you are a lucky man.

For today, two of my most used.

That is a capable and colorful couple, perfectly portrayed.

Outstanding, Gev; a great pattern and a looker, too!:thumbsup:

Mr Bullnose was Sunday’s carry, but the internet is fickle up here. Couldn’t send it til this morning. Well, actually, the picture would not upload.
I’ll remember not to try to slip one by you!

Been there, done that, and still looking like a million bucks.

A very good friend indeed. That’s a beaut.

Kind of hard not to stop whatever you’re doing, and pull those out to admire the handles, I’ll bet.

The Slimline Trapper will slice up your Sunday roast/ham/turkey, and the Peanut will handle the rest. Great combo.

6hours on the road yesterday to my sister and brother-in-law’s place in Michigan. They bought what used to be an old church camp on 100 acres with National Forest all around. It’s a really nice place to hang out and walk in the woods. A bit rainy, so not going to even try to catch some fish, but it’s warm, and the leaves are starting to turn.

Nice Duo Jeff, I have a couple (1 pristine and 1 user) of those Voos knives. Both of mine are solid work knives, centered and solid blades:thumbsup:

Going into the Chicago area today and will carry these 2 little guys . Sorry for the dark photos today .

That’s some nice stag in your pocket. I hope you enjoyed your day. It was pretty dreary outside yesterday.

A gray day, a bit under the weather so a smaller carry for a football Sunday. 2016 Yellow bone 14 with Spear and Pen.

I really like the way GEC runs its antique yellow bone. It really makes the knife look like more of an old classic. And the extra thickness of a second blade really makes the 14 much more useable, in my opinion. I’ll have to keep my eye out for the Un-X-Ld that should start dropping in the near future. Get well soon!

I hope GEC does another run of 73s soon. I like the size of the 74, but the square end on the 73 looks great.

A HSB pen and an Ulster dogleg jack today.
The serpentine shield, end cap bolsters, and that old time jigging makes for a beautiful knife. Thanks for sharing.

Just a simple Opinel for me today.

Thank you very much for the kind words about my Stag . Although it was not a dreary day out yesterday , we did enjoy ourselves very much . We attended a play at the Marriott in Lincolnshire . We have been doing that for 3 years now .

I think the 73's were my first GEC's as you can probably tell looking at this one. :p A lot of folks complained about the overly strong back spring. I just grinned and bared it all these years, it's a great model. :D
