What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Superior stag, Ken!:cool::thumbsup: I'm a Purdue grad, but didn't even consider watching a Saturday night Purdue-OSU game on TV. I was shocked by the results this morning!

Thanks Gary. That game was painful to watch but in the grand scheme of things, completely meaningless in my life. I didn't graduate from OSU, just sent a lot our money to them; our son is an OSU grad.;):D

A venerable knife, indeed.

Double rosewood!

Artisan indeed :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Outstanding Sow my friend. Is this Black Box or pre?
Thanks, it is a Black Box #3949
It looks like you recently grabbed a few sweet new Sowbellies yourself.

Smashing Winchester Kevin
Thank you, my friend. I'm glad to hear that your back is feeling better.

Cool response to Jeff's pair, FBC! :D:thumbsup:
Thanks for your comment on my humpback stockman. :)
It was the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw Jeff's post.
Ya gotta love those humpbacks.

A pair worth repeating, FBC!:thumbsup::cool: What sort of project do you have going there? That "glitch" caused a double take for me! ;)
The Lambsfoot did all the work while the AGR just lounged around in my pocket.
I have had some really strange glitches with digital cameras over the years.

Fab' four! I can see why you grabbed them all.
I really like that RR Stockman. Great covers and that long clip looks like a fantastic slicer.

That Winchester sowbelly has "winner" written all over it!:thumbsup::cool:
She's a keeper for sure.

The weekends never last long enough! Have a great week, y'all!

Kevin, the lighting came out awesome on this one.:thumbsup::D

Great knife and photograph, Stuart !!

A fantastic knife

Tasty peanut, Stuart! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

I share your sentiment, Stuart (and the knife, as well - one of my favorites).:thumbsup:

Very unique (in my experience)!:cool::thumbsup: The pic of the closed knife reminds me of a fish!

Thanks, Gev, John, and GT. I've been splitting and stacking firewood and installing gutter screens for the past two days and am just getting around to sending my appreciation for your kind comments.

Commendable congress, Rockon.

Enjoy the day!

Crazy Cramer and Krein stags, Gary.

Love my ltttle Peanut.

A precious peanut in a pretty picture. Well done.

Pam and I participated in our first 5K this morning. She was prepared but I basically went from the couch and remote straight to action! I can barely walk now I hate to think what it’ll be like in the morning! :D They have hard frost warnings out for the area where we’re at. It may be rough on the pumpkins! ;)

I love the pumpkin pose, but the thought of you scampering around in your Lycra running gear makes Halloween a bit more scary. Congrats on the run, though.

In my pocket this German knife Weidmannsheil...:D:thumbsup:

That is a fine looking knife. You and I share an appreciation for Parker and Weidmannsheil knives. I need to post some of mine in support.

Today I was carrying this Federal Knife Co. Jack. Next time you see it, it'll have new rosewood covers. (and a nail relief so I can open the pen blade.)

Nice acquisition r8shell, and I look forward to the results. I admire your pluck.

I carried my new mini trapper again today.

It's a beauty, Dean.

Mother and child reunion, Trav?

Bodacious barlow, Dwight.

I’m also carrying this Craftsman hunter in a sheath to church because it’s potluck today, and I’ll need a sharp blade long enough to slice the pork loin I’ve been slow cooking in the crock pot.

You'd hope that the church kitchen would have suitable cutlery, but I've cooked in them, too, and you are smart to tote that capable Craftsman in reserve. Good on you for your service.

34OT today

Ain't they great knives, Steve? And yours looks good, too.

Buck 500 Duke

Heath/Ed, y'all have reminded me of how handsome those 500 series Bucks are. Thanks (I think).

Thank you @JohnDF for the nice words.

That does it. I'm send my knives to you and let you make them look fabulous. Great post.

Yep, that's it.

A stag Spanish sodbuster jr. from JJ Martinez (thanks, Elle)

The others are very suitable for EDC, but Elle's gift is very nice, GT.

I wanted something small with a Wharncliffe blade. It was a hard decision to make. Here are the contenders.

How can you lose either way, Dean?

This ended up being my favorite 78 of the run, and the only one I decided to keep.

A fine knife and a great set of pictures, Leslie. Thanks.

Jack, I think I’ll live! It’s getting better already!

That's good news. I'll save some firewood splitting for you, Ron.
