It's like forgetting your billfold, or watch, or wedding ring, or comb (I still have hair, though it is thinning and whitening!).Just a quick trip Gary, I didn’t want to check a bag. It is a feeling like something is not right.![]()
Nice improvement!I've got this 15 boy's knife in my pocket today. It is the first GEC I ever owned and @glennbad put the stag covers on it for me.
AS IT WAS WHEN I RECEIVED IT

THE WAY IT IS TODAY.

Great choice as well! I picked mine up off the sales forum and have found the form factor very pocketable. Makes me consider buying a Churchill every time I carry it.![]()
I’ve got the Drover to keep me company as I listen to a new album.
Outstanding photo.
The long and short of it!
Cool response to Jeff's pair, FBC!Thanks again for your eloquent words. That Humpback Stockman makes me want caramel candy.

Tasty peanut, Stuart!... At 2 7/8", this Schrade Walden 272 packs a lot into a small package.

The saber grind on the clip gives it some strength in the spine.

Thanks for your remarks about the knives I posted, Jeff. Those are clean...
Too clean.
It was only recently that I realized what cannitler meant.
Striking blue bone with red shield Case!![]()
Thanks for the "week in review", @315; that's a quality quintet!Been a long week so just trying to catch up. Carried the two German made Barlow’s at work this week and grabbed the 881 Schrade a couple of nights when I got home. Carried the Victorinox today Salmon fishing and have the 77 on me now.

A pair worth repeating, FBC!![]()
Stuck with the same two as yesterday.

Had a weird camera glitch when taking a solo shot of the AG Russell.![]()
All I can say is wunderbar!
Congrats on that new Winchester stockman, Lance; that's a superb acquisition!I’ve had this 66 with me since I recently received it. The Winchester just showed up today. Can’t go wrong, in my opinion, with a jigged bone Stockman with a federal shield. One of my favorite combinations. View attachment 1006421
Nice tribute!
Capable pair for sure, Jeff!...
It’s Shradurday! View attachment 1006507View attachment 1006508 I like the build quality on these- the electromagician is built like a tank.

Congrats on the new GEC #14, Harry! If it turns out to be too small for you, I guess I could take care of it for you until it grows up.
That's a fine mini trapper, Dean; the star of stars on the bolster is a nice touch!
Your two lambsfoot knives and the Farmer are excellent knives, Jack, but are you sure it's wise to load up on knives when your back is on the fritz?!?
I do like your plan of trying to hike a bit; I'm a big proponent of "range of motion" therapy for injuries.
Thanks for your remarks about the knives I posted, Jeff. Some of my knives aren't as clean as they look in the pics. I'm neither a good nor an enthusiastic photographer, so I often only get pics of a knife soon after I get it (especially for stainless knives), and these new-knife pics are all I have available for many knives even years later.
Thanks for the "week in review", @315; that's a quality quintet!
A pair worth repeating, FBC!What sort of project do you have going there? That "glitch" caused a double take for me!
Congrats on that new Winchester stockman, Lance; that's a superb acquisition!
Nice tribute! How do you like the AG Russell sodbuster, Jer? Is that the big version, or the smaller one?
Capable pair for sure, Jeff!
Very seasonal black/orange combo, John!
Striking stag pair, Joshua; that Weidmannscheil is incredible!(What is that turtle made of, and what's its story?)
In addition to the knives I carry each week as dictated by my rotation schedule, I've made a habit of carrying a Free Choice knife that's completely unscheduled and selected according to my whims at the time I'm grabbing my knives for the week. But this week, I inexplicable went for FOUR free choice selections!
