Little #15 Northwoods today!

My Moki is as fine a F & F as I have ever seen on 100 + new knives that are not a Custom .Now that my year of trying GEC patterns is almost up, I'm pretty convinced that Moki will be the next brand I try. The fish owl looks so sleek, it is micarta (which I like better than g-10), and stainless. I've only heard excellent things about fit and finish, too.

I wouldn't mind being kissed by a crane!Splendid locking whittler, Gev!
Thanks for always taking the time to post such appealing knives, Steve!
That Camco Barlow is a prime example!
Thanks for all the kind canoe comments:
Dave (you gave away 40 canoes??),
Jack,
Nick (your yellow shadow stockman with the bird's eye pivots is quite a piece of work),
Dean (your CSC shadow BF penknife is grand),
Dee (I agree about the allure of checkered handles),
Tom (have to confess that the edges came to me like that),
Senhor Pinto (your bone lambsfoot is quite unusual here),
Mitch (canoes ARE extremely pocketable),
John (didn't know if I could call a RR "fancy" here),
Dylan (stag, but I don't really know differences among natural, genuine, burned)

Just this yeller birdseye. No need for more.
I walked over a rope bridge on my hike today.
It’s not the gettin, it’s the going, right?
What a great old jack knife.
That's a beauty Stuart !
I know the pain of going home empty handed from a hunt but the woods time usually does a great job at salving my disappointment. Glad to have you back here though and with a beautiful knife!
Quality Cigar Stuart![]()

Over here, people lose their minds when a little bit of frozen stuff appears. Shuts down the major cities like nothing else will.
Thank you, Jack. One of these days (hopefully in the not so distant future), I would very much like to experience the Yorkshire countryside, I always love seeing your outdoor pictures. Speaking of pictures, that is a lovely shot of your Lambsfoot.

I'm liking that Plow, Jack. Great pics.
...
Thank you, Jack, and thanks for sharing those two fine photos. I noticed that the Plow is a close twin to the Kissing Crane Brown Mule posted bydc50 . Our weather is going downhill fast.
...
That's a fine photo. This is the view from the front porch of our hunting place, though not as artistic. It is a great place to sit, sip, talk, and share cigars.

Nice color and grain on your cane by the way. I usually use a telescopic stick with pistol grip when hiking, but would like something in natural materals. I have tried to find a collapsible or screw together model, I know these exist, but are expensive and hard to get. At Gomera on our holiday the stick proved it's worth.Very nice Gev![]()
LOvely knife Dean, hope you have some sunshine today![]()
Same here Dylan, you'd think we'd never had snow before! If you ever get a chance to make the trip Dylan, it would be wonderful to show you around
Beautiful photo my friend

I am off to a place called Newmillerdam tomorrow, been called something like that since the 'new mill' was built there in 1285, but prior to that it was called Thurstonhaugh, an Old Norse name thought to mean 'the water-meadow of Thor's stone'
We have branches here now, but so far I have managed to shuffle past with averted eyes and gritted teeth!
Thank you very much GT, those are three smashers![]()
Thanks a lot Stuart, the Plow was a kind gift from @PàdruigI noticed Dave's Brown Mule, I tried to get hold of one some years ago, along with a Black Angus, but (contrary to what the rather stupid UK vendor told me), they were only available in stainless, and had dubious provenance. The older ones are much nicer I think
That's an enchanting photo my friend
Hope everyone has had a good weekI am carrying these two today my A.Wright 2018 Guardians Lambsfoot in ebony for Black Friday, and the Case Swayback Gent that Gary @Peregrin very kindly gifted me a while back
