Terrible picture. But I had to see what all the fuss was about. So far, I'm impressed. Exceot the back spring. While looking real cool, I think it's a way to hide imperfect fit maybe? Maybe not, maybe just meant to be really cool and different.

*edit*. I now notice that the spine is rounded also. Which is a very cool touch I've always loved about sebenzas. So the back spring matches the spine.

I'm glad you re-assessed that :D The rounded spring, liners and spine are a very real quality feature on these LS knives. Not only in appearance but feel too. These are superbly finished knives, no gaps, no play, dead centre, great balance to the W&T and a fine modern interpretation on a Traditional style. I was sceptical about them at first, even critical but I'm very glad to say how wrong I was. They are not heavy either yet are robust:cool:

Thanks Jack, they are a really satisfying carry and user. This one's all blackened with patina now but I've got a mint reserve one too, just in case.....

They certainly did a lot of patterns including some more obscure ones e.g. Coffin Jack, Banana Trapper, no Barlow though. I'm missing the small Wharncliffe Pen/Congress but always hopeful- All have beautiful bone, most versions v.dark a few lighter but all have that great bark-like jigging.

I'm even more prolix than usual today ;) confined to quarters after a nasty accident last night at the country place. Just leaving, pitch dark and had no torch (f.light) with me heading towards the gate. Tripped over a bench fell face down in granite flints:eek: cut open the cheekbone, lots of blood but bruised 2 ribs cracked another  Driving back was 'challenging' If I cough, laugh or move it's agony...face looks like I've had a punishment battering too :D All my fault, he who thinks he can see in the total dark, knows nothing....:(

I have to agrre. I'm.very pleased. So much so that I went and reserved a black carbon Fibre warhorse two blade. Still one blade short of my normal preference but I do like improved trappers! And very light for its size.

Jack, I love the bottom knife; that's the Abbeydale, correct?
