I know what you mean Del. I'm a little better since I was diagnosed with sleep apnoea, but I can't remember the last time I had a great night's sleep. That is quite something to find in the back yard! :eek: ;) :thumbsup:

Actually Mr. Gila Monster wasn't harmed or touched, but was sprayed with the high pressure garden hose.

They're the lizard equivalent of a rattlesnake. Gila Monsters while beautiful are EXTREMELY dangerous.

Mean, Aggressive and Venomous. Their bite is extremely painful, nasty and they also lock on and *WILL NOT* let go.

In hospitals here, they submerge your arm/leg in water to get them to release their bite.

They're notorious for getting under cars, so most people bit are ankle/toe bit.

Also, if you try to pick one up, they do not run away, they will attack you!
