What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

A 2007 Case 62032 Texas Jack in Amber Bone. When Case gets it right, they make a really nice knife:thumbsup:

Beaumont? Or farther north than east? My dad's family is from just inside LA. Most the then was born in hospital in orange.
Living about 4-5 miles east of the Trinity River off Highway 105. Little community called Moss Hill.

Excellent knife! I have a couple of the bone covered Camillus Classic Cartridge Series versions. I absolutely love the shape of the clip blade on this model.

I agree with Buzz about those knives and yours looks like that it has led an honest and fruitful life, as opposed to mine which looks like a poseur.

Thank you gentlemen!
Indeed, that blade is a favorite of mine, sort of a beefy California clip, a wide sturdy blade, but a fine point.

Stuart, yours is a looker! I like the satin pocket wear on mine, but also miss it being polished too... And I must admit mine is more shelf queen than user. It's had a rather cushy life so far. It was still brand new in box when i got it in 2008. Most all of the wear on mine is from pockets, and only a couple years worth in the decade I've had it.

It saw a lot of carry when I first got it, but hasn't been out more than once or twice a year at the most for 5 or 6 years... Now that I think about it, I'd guess I've only ever sharpened it once, maybe twice.

Wonderful knife that I love having, but not really my cup of tea when it comes to actually cutting things...

Very nice :) I bought mine in 1982, carried it 10 years straight. It still sees regular hiking duty

I had one many years ago and iirc I either lost it or gave it to an older gentleman who seemed interested in it. I feel like I gifted it to someone. After many years without, a certain member here, (I won’t mention any names) gifted me one with several other knives from the other side of the pond. I loved the Mauser and and to this day it’s still my favorite Woods walkin’ Knife when I just wanna throw 1 knife in my pocket that’ll handle most of my tasks for the day.

Today though I have the 2018 Traditional Forum’s Knife in my pocket.

I'm not usually a big fan of the stag look, but I gotta say, you sure got a great set of antler on that one! Wow!

Great post and beautiful knives. Surely, just one of those knives means more to you than all of my knives put together

Yes, they mean a lot, as do many other artifacts to other folks. I appreciate your support and hope the same to you as you and others on The Porch collect remnants of our personal pasts. Thanks.

D Duckdog Just awesome Stuart!! Your stepfather has great taste!

Love the sheepsfoot on the top one!
Thanks for allowing us to unpackage this stunning collection with you.

Thanks guys for your compliments and patience. Yes, he shot for the top shelf in every thing that he did. I was lucky to be in his range of ambition enhancement (as were my brother and sister).

Beautiful Queens Stuart! That 31 with the Clip and Sheepfoot looks very familiar! ;) I have got to get caught up on my photos and stories! :D

Thanks, Ron. As to worries about catching up, I've been there and am more relaxed now.

"No pill's gonna cure my ill", but that knife is just what the doctor ordered, Stuart!:thumbsup::thumbsup: (and it gives me an excuse to link to this video: )

3 Cannon sailor knives (according to the maker, drop point, modified tanto, and sheepsfoot, respectively :eek:)

Those Cannons blow me away, GT. So much so

Thanks, Gary, and I truly understand. Give it a carry or three and see what develops. I took my two Queens to my local watering hole this afternoon and they were both a big hit (and cut one careless buddy's thumb. Dumb a. . !).

OK, it's actually a virtual calendar that's a figment of my imagination, but IMHO it's an inspired concept! ;):cool:
I'd buy that for a dollar! ;):D

Will, thanks on the ram's horn, it's definitely a favorite. And capo, nice photo of the coffin jack.

I'm carrying this old dog today, a Camillus 69.

Thanks, man! It really is a great looking knife. I thank you for releasing this one back into the wild.
That Camillus is real looker too!
A true beauty Kevin
