What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Bought a new (to me) GEC 21 from another forum exchange. It is a pretty sweet knife but I can't seem to drop this Case Muskrat I had modified.

I had to go back and look at that knife, again. Anyone would be happy to carry that one and proud to pull it out of their pocket to show or use. Well done, Dave.

Thank you, Stuart, :) I believe this was one of my first GEC's

Thanks for the Atari info, Tom. I've never really played video games on "home systems", but did stick a lot of quarters into arcade games around 1980 (mostly Donkey Kong, but also Space Invaders, Asteroids, and Missile Command - IIRC, the last 2 were way too challenging for my rudimentary skills). (One exception to my claim about not playing video games at home: my first computer was a Radio Shack Color Computer (using a color TV as monitor), and I bought a cassette tape version of Donkey Kong to play on it.)
Thanks for the RR Electrician comment; I, too, really like the advice on the shield. ;)
Your white pair could shed light throughout 2019!:cool::thumbsup:

Thanks GT, I spent many hours and many quarters in arcades in the '80s. There was a shopping center near-ish to our home my brother and I would ride our bikes to. It had a pizza place, a store with penny candy and comic books, and an arcade. This machine brings back a little of that nostalgia :). Terrific group of knives you have there, especially the colonial

These two for me today, Happy Friday!

Intermittent rain storms have washed out the last few days of my deer season, so I sit here with some time on my hands (until Miss Norma realizes what's happened). My totin' choice today was inspired by a post by Dylan (@Pàdruig ) and following comments by Alan ( joeradza joeradza ), an always influential pair. Because of them, I'm sticking with the pig. Sooou-ee, sooou-ee, pig!!

Sorry for my absence from this thread folks :( I've been ill, and only on the mend now  I'll not be going out today, but at least I'm dressed! And carrying these two, my ebony Guardians 2018 Lambsfoot and a vintage Buck 301 recently gifted to me by @r8shell :)

Jack, Sorry to hear about that norovirus. It can be nasty as it seems you've discovered. I hope you rally soon!

Just had some leftover Rib Roast on Rosemary & Olive Oil bread with brown gravy. I let the Krein have a taste too! Yes, I like pepper!

Peregrin Peregrin s' lunch looks a whole lot better than mine! Lol.

Inspired by the GEC talk in the 2019 forum knife thread, I went and dug out my one and only, a 2007 #23 in beaver pond bone.

Lots of little flaws on this knife when it was new, and it put a bad taste in my mouth about the company/products, for the price they ask... So I've never sprung the premium price for another GEC. Need to work on that...

BUT it is a nice knife, and deserves more pocket time! So I thought I'd give it some. :)

Thanks Gary, up until 2 months ago I'd managed to steer clear of it, but I've had it twice in fairly rapid succession o_O I'm starting to feel better today my friend :) That's a very tasty-looking snack, glad you're still enjoying that lovely Krein :)

Nice pair, Ron, very nice. I am a bit partial to the redbone Case, but AC is sweet.
Thanks Stuart! Case redbone is always nice! :D

Old Friends Friday : These 2 TEW's are Old and I do carry them a lot . Sheepfoot and Lambfoot

They are both in my pockets today
Harry

Sweet Winchester Sowbelly Stuart! It makes me want to give mine some pocket time! :D

I hit the hardware store in my little town and couldn’t find what I needed so I drove to a really, really little town to a saw shop. No luck, but I bought a new bow saw. The 77 Northfield got to open a couple of packages but that’s it so far.

While wandering around the (jigged) bone pile, I found this little old slim fella and decided to give him some pocket time. He, the sowbelly and I will be ready to greet my Friday afternoon group at our local watering hole this afternoon. A Schatt & Morgan barehead jack from 1902-1928.

Getting good pics was tough today in the flat light of an approaching storm front.
