• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Thanks Jack the wood is birch burl and the steel is AEB-L. Wayne Childress calls it an upswept hunter. 7inches is a great size. The handle always looks like it is moving. (No extra charge for this feature)

I can see myself using this old gumtree more often for knife photos

It's a beautiful tree, which compliments your beautiful knife

Double Lambsfoot Day for me ;)

Really like that Hunt Jerry, I have a nice little wharncliffe fixed blade from him:thumbsup:
Thanks! Todd is a great craftsman and an even better guy. I have a small handful of his pieces. This little axe is one of the dressier ones, in my opinion, with the blue liners and mosaic pins.

Were you the one that ended up with that pretty green jigged bone wharncliffe? He made a few wharncliffe knives a little larger than his Hornet model at the time. There were a few in some gorgeous curly maple, but the one sporting the green bone really stood out to me.

A buddy came into work this morning with the first King Cake of the season. First words out of his mouth: "Get your knife out." :D

Used my BFTC (Thanks, Randy!) which I forgot I had recently sharpened. The first cut went right through the bottom of the box.

We had a king cake too. First time I've ever had oreos and cream flavor and, holy crap, it's dangerously good!

What is a clevis, anyway?

More commonly known here as a bail.
