What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Most days I carry a late 40's Camillus engineers knife. My favourite knife, my favourite maker.

greyelm,

I would be most interested and much obliged to see a picture of this pattern of knife if you would be so kind to share it, please. The vintage Camillus knives were made by some the finest cutlers that ever lived during that time period.

Showing my Blade Forums pride on both of my carries today.

I have got all of these little gem's respective carbon steel blades very scary sharp and I keep both the 2006 Canal Street Ring pattern and the 2008 Northwoods small Stockman(a kind heartfelt gifted knife :) Thanx) oiled up and pretty slick..

Today it's a canal Street Ring Opener in the left pocket and a Vic classic in the right pocket.

Gonna' follow up Chris' trapper post. Been carrying this Queen City mini trapper lately. It carries really well, nice and slimlined. The blades are thin like I like em too. Been putting it through the most rough work a student can AKA sharpening pencils :D. Nobody batted an eyelash when I whipped it out in the lab today - another thing I love about traditionals.

Hey! That's just like the one I won from Texasflyfisher! Which, to keep this thread on subject, has been in my pocket since the day I got it.

T. Bose 4" BP green Micarta, 440V drop-point blade, scrotum shield. It never leaves my pocket except when in my hand.

Sunnyd, these are a few of my WW2 engineers knives. The Camillus is the bottom one. The one I EDC is the same style but without a shield and has the post war tang stamp. I like these cammies so much I have 14 of them, ranging from factory finish to battle worn.

I'm packing this'n today, just received recently, made somewhere from 1940 to 1964 Robeson( if I did my research right Delrin and iron bolster for those interested- stamped 626636) 3-3/8" sleeve-board jack. Great snap, and SHARP although she's pitted pretty bad..
