What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Hey there fellow members,

Ya'll sure are sport'n some fine looking/sounding slipjoints these days. Thanks for showing them here for us all to see.

I switched up today and carried an old knife that is close to my heart because of the memories it holds for me, not to mention the cutting ability of their honed sharp blades. My uncle Lew's old Case # 64047P Stockman. I sure do miss him..

Thanks for the kind words, but my picture taking skills are sufficient at best and only sometimes so. It is hard for me to get the right lighting, I always chalked it up to my cheap camera, but it is capable of taking pretty good pics when I do OK on my end. I need to figure out how to make one of those light box things I hear people talking about and learn to take some quality pics.

today it stood between my queen large stockman and a EKA 100 that I rehandled and worked to a easygripp. The queen got the long straw.

I decided I am going to carry just one today. What a thought!

I really need to work on getting better pictures of my knives. With the camera I have and the fact I went to school for photography, they should look a lot better than they do. I will work on it. I promise.

Today is causual day at the office so taking adavantage and wearing jeans and carrying my recently acquired Case Caribean Blue bone whittler with a Buckaroo Pouch!

Being on the injured reserve list, I have been ordered by SWMBO to engage in only light duty.

So, I have spent much of the morning thumbing through the pages of this thread.

Having worked up a sweat as a result, I feel I must now go and take a cold shower.

Thanks!

Andy

Instead of a shower, I took a walk. In my pocket I had this -

Kissing Crane large Brown Mule. Carbon blade. Very light for such a large folder.

Now I feel better.

I carried this knife for awhile last year and started EDCing it again a couple of weeks ago. It's a Case peanut with SS blades from 2002.

The handles are autumn bone. The scale on the obverse side is a more uniform brown, but this one has some nice color.

I decided on this one today. I keep going back to Stockmans.

Update: I decided to make a change today. I had the itch for a SAK, so I got these two out and put the Case away.
