Man, I love that Lloyd.

No patina! Brand new. Still unsure about the whole round end stockman thing. It's looooong and skinny. Should slice like a dickens. Gonna flush it well and sharpen it up tonight then work on a patina!

Edit: I want an 81 stockman run with the same secondary shapes as these.

I have wanted to check out the Case sodbuster jr. for a while. Carrying this unassuming yeller today.

Thanks! I love my possum skinner. The clip point is a slicing fool!

That 88 is an absolutely AMAZING knife Dwight:cool::cool::cool:

Boy, there are some fine knives being toted today. I'm sticking with the lightweight W. C. Davis lockback that I toted yesterday, but adding another light lockback to balance my pockets: a 2.5" folder by the Art Wiman, Plumerville, Arkansas. Mr. Wiman made knives from 1966 until the early 1980s. He was an early member of The Knifemakers Guild and was mentor to Jimmy Lile. He passed on October 5, 1999.

Now that is one handsome devil!

Unfortunately, John, it's double it gives a little more to hang on to. :D

John may not like it but it makes the knife infinitely more attractive to me. ;)

Now that is an interesting, albeit quite handsome, knife, Dwight.

Enjoying a bit of chocolate Ebony with my coffee this morning.

Pure unadulterated character right there.

Thanks Paul. The knife is in pretty good condition too. Here is the pile side. View attachment 1052249
I wonder if your beauty is in recognition of the German 88mm artillery piece, arguably one of the most devastating guns of WWII ?

Thank you for the fine compliment, as its a piece I always wanted and to have one in any condition is a joy !
