What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I did not bid, even being sorely tempted, but I wonder how often we cross paths with fellow porch members without even knowing?
I would bet that it happens often. Charlie C and I were the top two bidders just the other day on a knife ( :D he being the winner of course :D).
The split back whittler really is exceptional. Here's a spine shot.IMG_7737.jpg

I'm totin' a slightly unusual, to me, knife today: a W. C. Davis folder.
Wow Stuart, that is really special. Another rare treasure.

Carrying a Sow myself today, alongside a Lamb
Stunning photo as usual and the color sings!

GT I love the little Klaas canoe.

Big Knife is an Imperial clip/pen toothpick like Grandpa carried (thanks, Dave)

Beautiful FP in ebony!

I'm also carrying my 2018 Guardians Lambsfoot in ebony for Black Friday, together with a Thiers-Issard Violon :) Have a great day folks
Exceptional photos Jack. That T-I V is really something!

My Johnny Cash carries for the day.
Lovely in black.

Two hours in the dentist’s chambers being worked over yesterday...
It cost as much as 5 or 6 GEC SFOs would have:(
:D That's the sliding scale I'm always using...

I’m totin these two today. My new Tidioute Natural Canvas Micarta Possum Skinner and a Lambsfoot attired in Black Ebony!
Fabulous pic of knives, color and light Ron.fullsizeoutput_dcb.jpegfullsizeoutput_df2.jpeg Thanks John :)

Glad you like your Plow so much, Tom, but in these particular pairs, your Remington scout and the Black Box coffin jack really grab my attention!:thumbsup::cool:

Thanks GT, it is rare for a folder to capture my interest as much as the new Plow has, but I am definitely smitten :). Hmmmmm ..... don't think I have carried that Winchester and Remington together, thanks for the inspiration for tomorrows carry :D

I know it is Black Friday, but we are supposed to get sleet, then ice, then anywhere from 8 to 12 inches of snow. I am carrying these as they should be easy to find if I drop them :). Happy Friday!

Case CV Swayback
This could easily become one of my best knives. The build quality is top notch, with no gaps, centered blade, and very tight tolerances. In fact the only fault this knife has is that it was built so tight that it is taking some effort to break it in. The knife doesn't want to 'snap' open with authority. I can feel the grit and gunk in there, but because of the tight fit, it's taking a while to get it flushed. After two baths and several flushs, it is improving and I can tell it will eventually break-in. This is the only knife I currently own where the back spring is perfectly flush at closed, half stop, and fully open. It's really a great office carry knife.

Just ordered one;) I miss my Jack version that I gave away so I think this may help me along....the long wait begins.

Thanks, Will

Great looking knife !

Bfishes333, in answer to your question (you imbedded it in your quote of my post so it is not visible when I try to quote what you asked), that is one of the new Case Barlows. There are several versions available.

Thank you, fellas, for the compliments. It is a great knife and the single blade version that Alan sent me is just as excellent!

Thank you for the Joker info, GT, I will be on the lookout for them. The Sowbelly pattern is just superband I am enjoying it immensely, I am happy to see I am not alone in that sentiment. :D

I fine duo, Gev, but that Sowbelly is a show stopper. What a beautiful knife!
