I certainly appreciate your very sincere concerns my friend , but right now my bride of considerable years and I are sitting in our great room in front of the fireplace watching TV and I still have the 73 and afore mentioned 43 in my pocket and I am nice and warm . I am sure the 43 in the pocket has a lot to do with it . But you take care up there my friend and stay warm .Harry, I promise things would feel a whole lot warmer if you sent that 43 this way![]()
Thank you Dean! It’s appreciated!Equally gorgeous, but different! A very nice pair, Ron.![]()

Those Hummingbirds are one of those knives that I just feel that I should have got when they were new . I have been keeping track of your weather up there on my Weatherbug App on my phone too my friend . It does make me feel a little bit better about our weather . What you have now is what we will have tonight and tomorrow on this weather front . Be safe up there Paul .Harry, are you sure!!!??? it's not improving here, it's only getting worseI do draw comfort from my Hummingbird Churchill, but it can only do so much, not like the 43 could do
It's 6 degrees colder from this morning's temp

That is what we look for when we go out and about hunting for Vintage Folders my friend .An old KA-BAR equal end Jack. The main is down about a 1/4 of an inch but whoever re-profiled it did a fantastic jobMatchstick pull, centered and solid blades with great snap and great aged smooth jigged bone covers

A classic. My first knife, over 50 years ago, looked just like that. (Mine was made in USA and had carbon steel).
Good eye's my friend, slight EO done by me as I couldn't access the pen before. Now the pen blade opens easilyThat is what we look for when we go out and about hunting for Vintage Folders my friend .
I can't tell , but is there a very small EO notch for the smaller blade ???

Just this tired old Camillus scout for me today, but a couple of new toys may arrive as early as Thursday.

Beautiful 77 Barrett, one of my favoritesPaul, one thing I've learned since moving to Minnesota is that, no matter how cold it is here, I can usually count on it being a little bit colder over where you're at!![]()

Still, it's not exactly warm here (currently -19°F, windchill of -47°F, and dropping), so for now all I have to offer is an indoor photo of the #77 that's in my pocket.

-18, I bet you're still are wearing shorts and flip flops.![]()
In case I drop my knife while shoveling?I thought I wouldn't spend a lot time searching so the ORANGE should make it easier to find

Buzz, my scroll wheel has came to a screeching halt every time you post that amazing scout. That jigging is ... truly, I don't have the words. It's like it is alive, it looks like something nature made. The "W" on the display must stand for WickedCold and Winter or WindChillCantBeMeasured.

Carrying an Old Henry Sears and Son I found at a knife show last weekend. It needed some TLC but it cleaned up pretty well. Still some more work to do but, I want to take it slow and just let using/carry time work out the rest of the kinks. The pocket worn bone and the fact that it was a dogleg pattern was too much to pass up:
