Harry, I promise things would feel a whole lot warmer if you sent that 43 this way:D:thumbsup:
I certainly appreciate your very sincere concerns my friend , but right now my bride of considerable years and I are sitting in our great room in front of the fireplace watching TV and I still have the 73 and afore mentioned 43 in my pocket and I am nice and warm . I am sure the 43 in the pocket has a lot to do with it . But you take care up there my friend and stay warm .

Harry, are you sure!!!??? it's not improving here, it's only getting worse:eek: I do draw comfort from my Hummingbird Churchill, but it can only do so much, not like the 43 could do;):p It's 6 degrees colder from this morning's temp:mad::mad::mad:

Those Hummingbirds are one of those knives that I just feel that I should have got when they were new . I have been keeping track of your weather up there on my Weatherbug App on my phone too my friend . It does make me feel a little bit better about our weather . What you have now is what we will have tonight and tomorrow on this weather front . Be safe up there Paul .

An old KA-BAR equal end Jack. The main is down about a 1/4 of an inch but whoever re-profiled it did a fantastic job:thumbsup: Matchstick pull, centered and solid blades with great snap and great aged smooth jigged bone covers:cool:

Good eye's my friend, slight EO done by me as I couldn't access the pen before. Now the pen blade opens easily:thumbsup:

The "W" on the display must stand for WickedCold and Winter or WindChillCantBeMeasured.

Just this tired old Camillus scout for me today, but a couple of new toys may arrive as early as Thursday.

Paul, one thing I've learned since moving to Minnesota is that, no matter how cold it is here, I can usually count on it being a little bit colder over where you're at! :eek: ;) :D

Still, it's not exactly warm here (currently -19°F, windchill of -47°F, and dropping), so for now all I have to offer is an indoor photo of the #77 that's in my pocket.

Beautiful 77 Barrett, one of my favorites:thumbsup: My mom lives in St Paul and she usually checks the weather back home here as she knows it's usually there the next day albeit not as extreme:) My friend, after -5° below, I'm not sure if the temp matters much as it's darn COOOOOLD:eek: be careful out there:thumbsup:

:eek::eek::eek:

In case I drop my knife while shoveling?;) I thought I wouldn't spend a lot time searching so the ORANGE should make it easier to find:D

-18, I bet you're still are wearing shorts and flip flops. ;):D
That Bullnose looks well loved. Did you do something to the handle? It looks more flat / matte.
Stay warm... Well, as warm as you can anyways.

Buzz, my scroll wheel has came to a screeching halt every time you post that amazing scout. That jigging is ... truly, I don't have the words. It's like it is alive, it looks like something nature made.

Carrying an Old Henry Sears and Son I found at a knife show last weekend. It needed some TLC but it cleaned up pretty well. Still some more work to do but, I want to take it slow and just let using/carry time work out the rest of the kinks. The pocket worn bone and the fact that it was a dogleg pattern was too much to pass up:

I can see why you couldn't pass that one up. I really like how that long pull flows right into the swedge on the main blade. A really fantastic knife! :thumbsup::thumbsup:
