What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Well, I think for Wednesday, I will tote this baseball-themed Victorinox Tinker, courtesy of a GAW by @JTB_5:

Such a great knife.

-18, I bet you're still are wearing shorts and flip flops. ;):D
That Bullnose looks well loved. Did you do something to the handle? It looks more flat / matte.
Stay warm... Well, as warm as you can anyways.
Kevin, yes but the flip flops are fleece lined:D The Bullnose was thinned by Jordan here on the forums. I purchase it off the for sale forum and I love the thing. I like the factory ones as well but this has a good feel to it:thumbsup:

I’m carrying these two this morning! :)

Pretty good pairing, Ron.

on thin ice

Nice on ice, Gev. Very COOL!

That stockman's the bomb, Dwight. Blew me away!

In honor of that, I’m totin this Hammer Brands fish knife with my all time favorite tang stamp- alongside Mr Voos.

Great story, Jeff, and a very fine classic. I'm a Hammer Head, too.

Ulster Craftsman

Thanks, Steve, I needed that.

I've been to two funerals in two days (a side effect of having old friends for a long time). I carried the Böker 8842 yesterday and this Primble English jack today, as both guys were knife users and would have been sad if I didn't. Winter Storm Jayden spared us for a part of the grave-side ceremony for today's affair, but has pretty much settled in now.

Nja, in this current cold snap with so little humidity, knives don't like it too much unless all metal (who would hold that?:D) or Micarta. I never remove the locking collars from my Opinels as I think they're genius simplicity. Certainly the wood gets loose in the dry ;)

What do you mean?? That's a SUN KNIFE and cannot be eclipsed;):D If you've got better, I've yet to see it...

Thanks, Will
I was referring to the two baseball players on the cover of the book. NY Yankees pitcher Ron Guidry who had one of the best seasons ever and Yogi Berra one of the winningest catchers ever on some of the greatest teams. I always follow Yogi's advice. One of my favorite Yogiisms was "when you come to a fork in the road, take it."

Thanks for the compliment Stuart! I am sorry for the loss of your friends! I didn’t know either of them but I’m quite sure they would approve of your Boker and Primble! By the way, your Primble was most likely made by Boker also! Does it have a star?

Yogi & Gator are certainly two of the greatest. Yogi has 10 WS rings--the most! I recommend that book. Guidry was Yogi's chauffeur for spring training for years.
