• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Now for some knife content:

There's a manly knife for ya! Been getting over a cold, but going to take the bull by the horns and tote this on Tuesday, from @ArtesaniaHerreros. ¡Olé!

It's about snakes:
"Red Touch Yellow - Kills a Fellow
Red Touch Black - Venom Lack
Yellow Touches Red - Soon You'll Be Dead
Red Touches Black - Friend of Jack"

Since I memorized it wrong, I'd be in trouble if I ran into a coral snake!

Since we had both types of snakes (Coral & Scarlet King) in coastal NC when I was a boy the rhyme was taught to Scouts this way:
Red & Black, friend of Jack.
Red & Yellow, kill a Fellow!

The Corals today are very rare here, I haven't seen one in 45 years; Now I need a knife with handles to commemorate the memory!
