@Duckdog
Hope you're feeling better real soon, Stuart.

I've been out of action since Sunday and gotten way behind on this thread. I had a minor outpatient procedure (think "frontal colonoscopy" with a camera and laser) yesterday to remove a 12 mm (think .47 cal. bullet) kidney stone (first and, hopefully, last). Today, I'm in pain management, so am a bit dopier than usual. I'll try to catch up on some complimentary comments on the recent fine postings soon. Today, this is about all I am totin' around the house: a Belknap Hardware barlow from 1968-1985.

I expect that you are going to wear all of the Sawcut off of that beauty my friend . Very nice old Belknap .

It's about snakes:
"Red Touch Yellow - Kills a Fellow
Red Touch Black - Venom Lack
Yellow Touches Red - Soon You'll Be Dead
Red Touches Black - Friend of Jack"

Since I memorized it wrong, I'd be in trouble if I ran into a coral snake!

Thanks for sharing that Vince, very cool :) We only have one wild poisonous snake here, and it's small, and quite rare, so we don't have a rhyme, just general advice, "Try not to step on an Adder, because they're endangered, and it might bite ya!'" :D ;)

Carried these again today . One in the RFP and one in the LFP and they balance out the sides pretty well .

What a superb pair

Now for some knife content:

There's a manly knife for ya! Been getting over a cold, but going to take the bull by the horns and tote this on Tuesday, from @ArtesaniaHerreros. ¡Olé!

Smashing pic Vince :D

Got in a few Case Barlows from the recent run the other day, this one is a fine knife. I'm very pleased with it.

Looks nice Dylan

I‘m totin’ a new custom fixed blade today from local knife maker Evan Miller (Hawk Wing Forge). It is 5 1/2 inches long and a joy to carry. White G10 handles and a 30 degree inclusive edge, fantastic little slicer.

Congratulations Tom

Just received this Harness Jack. Not familiar with the Manufacturer, Enderes.

I have a couple of other knives that I could carry but I do like to carry these a lot . So today is a TWO TEW's Tuesday again for me . I know , they are older than me and probably not replaceable , but they are pretty Right for me and they will not get the very ugly Verdigris .

Haha! St Patrick chased them from Ireland to England! ;)
Plenty of snakes around here, especially rattlers. They even have "roundups". Went camping with my wife and daughter a few years ago, and one came into our campground. I promptly crushed its head with my foot and disposed of it. Poisonous.

Hope you are feeling better soon ! I passed a kidney stone a lot smaller than that and it was the most pain I've ever endured :(

That was many years ago now and I've been drinking a glass of cherry juice almost every day since and knock on wood haven't had another one.

Sweet Barlow BTW !
