Update: The Peanut saw daylight twice today, cutting things on both outings from the pocket watch, Peanut Cave. :D

Yep! Just another days work for Hank the Cave Peanut, ridin shotgun for Cattle King the stockman at the Double XX tick ranch. :D

One thing that knives will always have over watches, I can carry a bunch, especially with lots of pockets :D

That looks fantastic. It's really hard to beat one of those.

Thanks, Mack.
This is actually my first stockman, and I see no reason to buy another.
It is pretty neat to find a knife as old or older than my parents and have it basically new. Love it.

This one's been in my watch pocket every day for a little over a month now.

I think it's a keeper.:D

Since I will be away most of tomorrow, I'll follow Vanguard's lead and post a pre-emptive shot.

I will start the day, as I do nearly every Sunday, with the A. W. Wadsworth & Son french ivory sleeveboard pen knife in the pocket of my suit pants.

Beyond that, I have not yet decided. But it will likely be either the deep canyon chestnut bone Case mini copperhead or the winterbottom bone Queen Dan Burke half whittler.

GEC (Northfield) White Owl, stag scales and bail. I didn't think I'd like the bail, but it has grown on me. Might try putting a small lanyard on it one of these days, but even "naked" it is just fine.

Back home and rid of the suit, the Wadsworth has been returned to its resting place. Now dressed more casually I finally get some time with my Father's Day gift, the Queen Dan Burke half whittler.
