What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

A pleasure Rachel, have a great time with your dad :)

Jack Howarth was the owner of A.Wright & Son before John Maleham, the Sleeveboard and Barlow were probably made in the same factory
Thank you.
Really? Wow! That's almost spooky. I put the Barlow in my pocket and looked at the knives in the box you sent. The Howarth called out to come along with us. :)

Today I'll go with two different pre WWII KKs. One an Imperial/Hammer Brand "Kamp King" from 1936-37 with the old NYKCo tang stamp and an EC Simmons "Keen Kutter" Barlow. :)

Really beautiful old knives in great condition, JJ. Thanks for sharing them.

Lambsfoot of the Week is a 2017 Guardians horn lambsfoot (thanks, Jack):

Radiant horn on that foot o'lamb, GT.

Great pairing, r8shell: "real" old and "looks" old. A nice contrast of two handsome knives.

I feel like carrying a stockman today.
I think the medium Case is my favorite...

You make a great case for that favorite ranking.

That wood is wondrous, Ron.

Indeed!

Arrived today, and already in use.

Charlie @waynorth hit those out of the park.

carrying my new Jeffrey Mitchell spear point. I like it!

I like it, too. Beautiful burl.

Have a great weekend folks.

Stunning stag, Dwight.

Today’s pair is a couple of re-works.

I admire your work, Jeff. You've elevated dog chews to a new level.

Camco Barlow and a Stallion today

Bodacious Barlow, Steve, and a nice pairing in that picture.

Sweet knife, Gev. The covers on the Catt look like caramel candy.

I'm going with Schrade Saturday!

That's a terrific trio, David, in a really nice photo.

A nice knife in a scrumptious photo, Harvey. Dang that looks good!

Charlie and GEC got the jigging about as perfect as possible on his new Lambsfoot knife - all I've seen pictured have beautiful jigging.

Found my lost one, bottom of my shaving kit - wonder how that happened?? Carrying it today in celebration. OH

In earlier years, when Howarth's were a slightly larger firm, they were based on the small street where my grandparents lived, and where my mother was born. This old wooden gate stands on the staircase at Wright's, where it originally seperated Howarth's from John Maleham's firm, J & M Tools
