Thank you Jack!Thank you Ron, those two go together beautifully![]()
Thanks for the compliment Buzz! That’s a unique pairing you’ve got today! Now that's a combo. The Camillus looks fantastic, and Charlie's....... Well Charlie really outdid himself on that run.
I'm sporting the usual SwissTank MK II, like every day. But riding shotgun is my new green micarta Eureka Jack.

That's what I'd call a beautiful ballon Nick; it's also immaculate, wow!![]()

I agree 100% on that pile side swedge. It’s like a subtle exclamation mark.Happy Monday!
Bullnose and Cattaraugus Electrician today. I think the subtle swedge on the pile side of the Catt is a nice touch. View attachment 1205142View attachment 1205143
Thanks Nick! Thanks for the nice comments gentlemen! JJ, don’t think I’ve seen a pair of your totes I don’t like, love the bone on the scout! Ron, fairly respectable bone is an understatement for those beauties! I especially like that Camillus.
I like your polished stag, José, and the hexagonal tiles!
Congrats on the Damascus Wharncliffe mini trapper, Ron! Very impressive pair in your pic!
Such a unique handle, Alan!
Advantageous threesome, Jer!I really like the "shield" on the synthetic covers of the Imperial (I have a stockman of that style, from Imperial Ireland).
Congrats on the boss Eureka jack, John and @simmonsrb !I hope, unlike Archimedes, neither of you ran naked through the streets, shouting "Eureka!"
Quadruple thanks, Jeff & Jack.
The answers to "Who really made that knife?" are NEVER obvious to me, Jeff.I really like your 4-knife comparison shot!
Those are sure a couple of splendid little stag lockbacks, Harry!
That 2-blade TC is Totally Covetable, Tom!Good luck with the maturity thing!
Thanks, Steve; I have a matching canoe, too.
Congrats on the #43, Steve, but IMHO, that spear/pen EO swell-end jack with bail is the real treasure!!
Thanks, Dean.Since I don't try to coordinate my rotation schedule across the various categories, I sometimes get surprises like this week where a couple of different categories happen to contain a knife with an anchor shield (both obtained to "fill the gap" until I get a genuine Otter Ankermesser
).
The coloring on the jigged bone makes that one of the most recognizable TCs on The Porch, Dean!
Good to see you practicing the Black Friday rituals! What's the handle material on the Buck? Doesn't look like the "sawcut Valox" I'm accustomed to seeing.
Thanks, Stuart, although I think the background vista gives the sowbelly an unfair advantage.Impressive multi quote!
Thanks, Harvey; that Martinez marinera may have been the best 6 or 7 euros I've ever spent on a knife.I don't eat a lot of pasta, so I don't know much about marinara sauce, and started hitting the Google translators. "Marinera" is Spanish for "sailor", and "marinara" is Italian for "seafaring"; I wonder why the tomato-based sauce is called marinara?
What an evocative photo, Harvey!
Todd, the SBJr, pen, and slip make a first-class trio!
Congrats on the trade and completing your Forum knife set, Taylor!Do you carry your BF knives? I think I remember seeing you posting the elk Buck and a micarta sheepsfoot in the past, right?
I have an embarrassing number of RR canoes, but I don't have that smooth red bone model; that's cool!
Even after your putting them through their paces, both your old friends are looking quite chipper, Stuart!
Thanks for the compliments, Jack.I hope the Blue Bell thoughts of me were not a "drown your sorrows" kind of experience!
Duncan's duo is dandy!!
Jack, coincidentally, I was thinking of you Saturday afternoon when I decided to take some new pics of my rosewood HHB after I finished the week's laundry while waiting for the grass to dry so I could mow the lawn.
Lambsfoot of the Week is LamBarJack, my rosewood Hartshead Barlow:

You’re livin’ right, Paul!On the road back from visiting Mom/Grandma with my son, she lives 5 1/2 away and we just don't get to see her enough. My son is the one that brought up the trip to Grandma's, he's done it before, he's a good son
Overcast day and heading back home while jammin to classic rock from his play list, I raised him right
The HJ in my pocket, the covers bring me joy

We ate at a great Dinner where they just served breakfast which equaled AWESOME!!!
This sign was on the counter

Monday, Monday, so good to me
Monday mornin', it was all I hoped it would be
This morning, Miss Norma asked me to walk through my mess of strewn knife boxes/boxes of knives that passes as my cutlery conservatory to get her box of baking parchment, She didn't want to "upset your storage scheme". While retrieving her box I found another unopened box left from stepfather's knife collecting legacy. Inside were several assorted pocket knives (which I will tote and post once I catalog them) and this little box.

Three identical little Kutmaster equal end pens (model 27?) clad in Waterfall celluloid and tip bolsters, wrapped in brown tissue paper. Serendipity! I've been totin' one of them all day
- Stuart
I really like your patient exploration of your step dad’s legacy. Not sure I’d have the maturity or patience to not open everything at once!Monday, Monday, so good to me
