What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

My daily carry hasn't varied too much as of late. The Waynorth has been a very regular presence, it's just a terrific knife. The 92 brings with it that new knife smell and I've been familiarizing myself with a new-to-me pattern. The Shapleigh, on the other hand, scratches that old school itch.

Something new, something old, and a Lambsfoot... Can't go wrong with that awesome trio.

Not sure I’ve ever seen GEC jigging better than that!

I found my big Case stockman. Shown with the 307.

But I carried this Camillus 23 today. One time Mom and I were at an antique mall. I wanted this knife, but didn't want to pay what it cost, and Mom liked something, but not enough to pay for it, so we got them for each other for Christmas.

That’s the way to do it! Great little memory.
And a Camillus 23 is a helluva good knife.

On the road back from visiting Mom/Grandma with my son, she lives 5 1/2 away and we just don't get to see her enough. My son is the one that brought up the trip to Grandma's, he's done it before, he's a good son:thumbsup:
Overcast day and heading back home while jammin to classic rock from his play list, I raised him right;)
The HJ in my pocket, the covers bring me joy:thumbsup:

Monday, Monday, so good to me
Monday mornin', it was all I hoped it would be

This morning, Miss Norma asked me to walk through my mess of strewn knife boxes/boxes of knives that passes as my cutlery conservatory to get her box of baking parchment, She didn't want to "upset your storage scheme". While retrieving her box I found another unopened box left from stepfather's knife collecting legacy. Inside were several assorted pocket knives (which I will tote and post once I catalog them) and this little box.

Three identical little Kutmaster equal end pens (model 27?) clad in Waterfall celluloid and tip bolsters, wrapped in brown tissue paper. Serendipity! I've been totin' one of them all day

All I can say is it doesn’t surprise me in the least bit Stuart! I’ve had the good fortune to see your cutlery conservatory. Those are beautiful knives my friend!:cool:

Both nice but that Pal Scout is a sweetheart JJ!:)
Thank you Ron!!! Your pair of totes is certainly amazing; the WWII era Camillus is especially cool!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Your PAL is absolutely magnificent!!! That Rogers Bone is quite beautiful. I even dig the Boker. They really know how to make a sweet Barlow.
Thank you for your very kind words, Buzz!!! I've been admiring the wonderful work you did on your "SwissTank MkII;" the new Eureka jack is an outstanding companion!:thumbsup::D
JJ Cahill JJ Cahill - Thank you JJ. Charlie’s Waynorths are GEC’s only Lambsfoot pattern knives. Mine is a GEC 15 Navy Knife, artfully altered by @traumkommode. He reversed engineered a sheep into a Lamb.:) That Boker Barlow of yours is so nice.
Thank you Harvey; I thought the Waynorth was the first GEC Lamb though the work on the #15 Navy was exceptional!!!
Now this super beauty certainly looks like a "golden era" Sheffield lamb; your image is stunning!;):thumbsup:
Ulster BSA scout knife, 1923 - 1926.

Your Ulster BSA scout is marvelous Dean; an amazing pattern from a Devine cutler!:thumbsup::D

Three incredible knockouts Dylan; perfect trio of the old and the new, very cool!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks Jack, it was a fun four day (Friday-Monday) trip with Gage, time with my mom and son is a win win:thumbsup:

Sounds great Paul, and I'm sure Gage and your mom enjoyed it too :)
