What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

These two today.

I'll have these two with me tomorrow :)

Both are bonnie, Jack.

Killer grind on that blade!

Old Camillus sleeveboard.

Thanks, Nick. If I get a better pic of it, you'll see that the main has been "rudely buffed" as Jeff (@Amir Fleschwund ) complained about recently. Luckily, it did not mar this posting. Your sleeveboard smoothed out my day.

Fabulous festive knife, Paul. It's the cat's meow!

That is a high quality quartet, GT, especially the covers on the cotton sampler.

This will be my first image post, hope it works.

Yep, that works.

What a wood pair, JJ!:cool::thumbsup: I'm a few years past being a boy, but I should get me a boys knife or two - satisfying simplicity!
Thank you Gary!!! I'm sure you'd really enjoy the simple elegance of a 15 boy's knife!;):thumbsup:
Thank you kindly. Both Barlow’s are awesome. I recently just missed getting a gorgeous Robeson Daddy Barlow. What treasures.
All weather, all stainless, Joseph Rodgers Lamb Foot.

Thank you Harvey, I'm sure you'll snag one!!! You have a great lambfoot for every occasion; very cool!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
On Old Friends Friday, I'm totin' a Harris Bros. (1915-1926) large folding hunter, the Coke bottle handle of which was re-covered by a former owner in a white synthetic. It is resting on a Stevens model 311 (circa 10 B.C.) in 16 gauge that was once owned by my stepfather's father (stepgrandfather?) and which I cleaned today.

Classic pair of "old friends" Stuart; you're old Harris Bros. is quite a burley hunter!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Thanks JJ. I do love them sunken joints! Great pair of Barlow’s you’re toting today. Love the bone on them.
Old Camillus sleeveboard.
Thanks Nick!!! Your old Camillus is quite the amazing gem!:D:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Now that's hilarious Dave; great shot!:D:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Good idea, though.

Yeah, used to be a regular offering from Rough Rider; not sure if they still have them.
Nice photo of the Russlock with Old Toffeewings!

Wondrous walnut, Jeff!

That is one fine sowbelly stockman, LT!

Thank you, GT! The color pattern hadn't clicked in my brain; I should have arranged them differently.
:) That green peanut is the one you're "keeping warm" for your daughter, right?

You have a lot of knives that go onto my "In Search Of" list, sir, including a Gardener/Florist knife like that!

That's a stunner, Jeff!!

5K Qs 5K Qs - Thank you GT. So?...Did you like it...or not?:) Without a doubt, you’re the King of Canoes?
Thanks for the compliment, Harvey. I'm not sure I'm the King of Canoes, but my canoes are certainly the kings of my collection.
Did I like Lou Malnati's deep-dish pizza? I can't really remember, to tell the truth. I actually had to acquire a taste for pizza while I was in college. Prior to that, the only pizza I'd ever had was some kind of Chef Boyardee abomination that my Mom would make a couple times per year, and I hated it. I had a good friend in college from Berwyn IL, and we'd go out to a little pizza joint several nights per week. He'd get a cheese pizza, and I'd get a half of a hot sub sandwich. I didn't start to enjoy pizza until I was 20 years old!

Amazing Amherst!!

Case Texas Jack in Amber bone and CV.

Sweet knives, Paul & Dean! I love the pen blade on those Texas Jacks, so I guess I'm going to have to overcome my prejudice against square bolsters and track one down someday.
Paul, I enjoyed the sunset photo, but the same is NOT true about the snowy photos you posted Friday! I don't envy your October blizzards at all!

A quality quartet, Gary; especially those two stag beauties!
...
Thanks, Dean. The Colt sowbelly isn't really stag, but it's a reasonably pleasant facsimile.

Captivating Case Barlow and wrist watch! That lunar field notes book is especially cool!

My two Thursday totes are a couple of pre WWII budget slicers developed by Imperial during the Great Depression; both "Hammer Brands," a stockman and a medium toothpick.:)...
That pair had me seriously salivating, JJ! I have a "thang" for old "clamshell" Imperials, but I've never seen any as pristine as yours!

Today I’m carrying a 1970 Case Barlow and a Pere David Stag Lambsfoot from Wright’s!

Looking grand, Ron!

How 'bout you give me a minute to catch my breath after hitting me with a punch like that, Gev?!!? What a majestic pair!

Thanks, JJ, nice cracked ice! I put the Cut Co in pocket this morning.

W:eek:W! Is that new, Jeff? The jigging reminds me of an unforgettable Schrade Barlow that Dean @RDaneel has!
