What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Been using the Tribal Lock lately . . . quite a nice using knife!

Plaudits to Stuart for his generosity!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
That stag Mink is quite a knife, Ron. It challenges my meager knife classification skills, though. Is it a shadow pattern, or would you say it has the tiniest of tip bolsters??
Thanks Gary! The Mink does indeed have tip bolsters! :)

Thanks, Jack. :)
With its massive pearl covers, filework, and jimping, it's the Baron of Bling, the Epitome of Excess, the King of Kitsch! It's so cool!!! :D:cool::cool::D

- GT

LOL! :D

I got a text from the lady that gave it to me :)

A fine pairing for you, pal ! Lookers for sure :thumbsup:

That's cool Gev :) Thank you my friend :)

I’ve had limited carry choices in my rotation for the last couple of weeks. I’ve been visiting my daughter in DC. I am missing some of my normal EDC knives but, with these two I’ve managed to get by! :)

Hope you've had a great visit Ron :)

Today's two totes are both the same pattern from the same company in the same era, one civilian and one military issue; a 1923-39 walnut electrician and a cocobolo TL-29 from Robeson.:)
Thank you for the kind words, JJ. Great image of your TL29s. The warmth and character of the walnut is mesmerizing.

@5K Qs - Kind of you to say that, GT. An impressive bevy of RRs. Really like the Stag mini trapper. Looks like ancient covers.

Jack Black Jack Black - Thank you Jack. Great savory looking image of the bread and HH Barlow.

So sorry about your son :(, its a good thing dogs can be so comforting.
I have invested myself into a pup since our kids are gone and we have no grandkids and I'm enjoying having a friend that sticks by me all the time er at least when my wife isnt around. HahaView attachment 1219500 View attachment 1219501
My carry today

I appreciate it, rbeggs. I’m at peace with it~Never over it, but God gets you through it:)
In fact, we are on a road trip (2 days to get there) to Atlanta to visit my son’s real, live human legacy~ our two granddaughters:D
I love the dog- he looks attentive and engaged - and that is one fine M&G jack knife!

My saw scout accompanied by a custom from local knife maker Evan Miller. I have a hunting knife on order from him as well that I am looking forward to trying. It is kind of a Mora-inspired blade profile with stacked leather handles.

Sounds really cool, Tom !! Can't wait to see it. I love that one pictured. :):thumbsup:
