What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Gevonovich Gevonovich ~
Thanks for the compliment, although it was just a poorly lit photo taken in my lap at 70mph (not me driving!).
I have Camillus Pal EO utility jacks, and occasionally think I ought to get an Imperial like yours to make it a trilogy.
Nice one!

Wow~3d horn!
Thanks !! I really enjoy the pattern too. So many knives...

Speaking of practical, your Imperial EO is certainly an extraordinary pattern; awesome!:D:thumbsup::thumbsup:
A couple of Camies a #12 and a #72

A couple of captivating "Cammies" Steve; helped with my next tote decision!!!:)
Thank you for the kind words, JJ. Great image of your TL29s. The warmth and character of the walnut is mesmerizing.
Thank you kind Sir!!! What a marvelously modded Opinel; the edge just screams sharp!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Pocket wear and pitted blades. 100+ year old bone handled jack knife by Bayonne Knife Co. Still functions well with good blade action and snap, the blade takes a sharp edge. I'd love to know where all it has been over the years? if only it could tell stories.

What an amazing centurion; I'll bet that sturdy old jack could fill volumes with tales!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Small fixed blade from Emmer Knives

Great-looking little FB Frank

Thank you Jack!!! You have yet another super pair today, both with quite lovely covers!:D:thumbsup::thumbsup:

For my Saturday totes I've got a BSA scout from the late 40s and a BSA whittler from the 60s, both by Camillus; Camillus Cut Co served the "Scouting world" for six continuous decades, amazing.:)

Thank you very much JJ, those vintage beauties go together well :)

Morning folks, I hope everyone has a great weekend  Rain has cancelled play here, so my Hartshead Barlow is going to help me do some housework :( ;)

Love old Scout knives - and those two are splendid examples. Leafing through an old Scout Handbook and seeing pictures like yours are very nostalgic exercises. OH

Wore one and carried the other .

Harry
In style !!! Superb

That photograph sings, my friend !!! Saved

The two-tone rosewood of your SFO Hartshead Barlow lambsfoot is very distinctive, Harvey!:thumbsup::cool: The donut LOOKS delectable, too, but I discovered when our daughter was very young and we'd each get a donut when we bought groceries early on Saturday mornings that donuts always looked much better than they tasted, to me.

Totin the GEC Possum Skinner today.

Handsome knife, but that's the strangest looking possum I've ever seen that you're about to skin!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Brightening up a gray day.

Superb pic of your striking knife, Dave!:cool::thumbsup:

...
Nice looking Teardrop, GT. :cool::thumbsup:
Thanks, John; I do enjoy Case chestnut jigged bone. :)

Thanks, GT, for all of you kind and constant comments. I've been sporadic in my postings and will try to get better in my attendance. Your capable Cadet and handsome Teardrop caught my attention today. All four were worthy for carry, but those two warmed me on a chilly day.
- Stuart
Thanks for your thoughtful post, Stuart. :) "Sporadic" is a relative term; I think my weekly word count here is as high as it's ever been, but I think I'm "paying attention to" a much lower percentage of threads and posts than I used to. The volume of "traffic" just seems much higher these days, and a special superpower might be necessary to keep up!

My Wednesday wooden totes are both wonderful French slicers; the Le Compagnon "Le Thiers" knife by Chambriard in juniper and the classic Laguiole en Aubrac in ebony.:)
Très bon bois, JJ! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Grand photos, Jack, with the ebony lambsfoot on the scarlet leaf and the ebony gunstock fronting an endless vista!:cool::cool:

It's actually chilly this morning!:D

An unexpected day off, so I decided to smoke a stogie and ponder some Stag, followed by a second cup of coffee. Not a bad way to start off!
Stellar stag, @Leslie Tomville!:thumbsup::cool: I hope you had a very enjoyable day off. :)

Laudable lumber for midweek, Vince!:thumbsup::cool:

A tempting tetrad, Gary! :)
GEC Antique TC Barlow 2.0 and Case XX Jack.

Thanks, Dean. :)
You're toting a high-octane pair! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Just returned from a trip to South Dakota and I am 45 pages behind on this thread

The sky in SD always grabs my attention.

Carrying these two today.

Welcome back, Tom; great sky photo, and admirable couple of knives!:cool::thumbsup:

...
I'm going to be off out early with these two tomorrow :) Have a good day folks

Those are two of my favorite knives of yours, Jack!:cool::thumbsup:

Started the day with a 2013 Barlow, then after I dug out my Duluth Trading Fire hose vest for the Winter I discovered a 2013 green micarta Bull Nose with O1 blade in it's front pocket, a pleasant surprise:thumbsup:

Congrats on finding a "new" knife, Paul!:thumbsup::thumbsup: I guess that's ONE positive about the onset of cold weather; I have trouble coming up with others.

Thank you Gary!!! I didn't forget about your fantastic four from yesterday; just took another peek, awesome choices!;):thumbsup:

Thanks for all the positive vibes you emit, JJ! :)

Oh My! That is an incredibly handsome knife!!:cool::cool:

New day with a new knife I bought yesterday- certainly going to be my EDC today. OH

Congrats on the new Case (mini?) copperlock, Bruce!:thumbsup::cool:

It's been a lot of fun carrying Skoll, my Ironwood Lambsfoot all month. We have really been bonding.:thumbsup:
I'm glad to see you using that glorious knife, John! ;):cool: I especially like your photos that show the handles with a little more contrast, like this one - Sköll comes alive!:)

Thank you! The Soldier is stamped "88".
Thanks for the info, Todd; same age as my daughter!:cool:;)

International Knife of the Week is a MAM sheepsfoot, and Big Knife of the Week is a MAM Iberica, another weird coincidence in my rotation schedule:

HA!!! very true Gary, the older I get my like/love of Winter diminishes, I like it for a month or two then not so much after that;):) 50's today then the next 9 days don't crack 35 degrees:mad:

The MAM's that you carry intrigue me, they look stout and very "ready for work" and your Black Jack is just:cool::cool::cool:

Enjoy your weekend:thumbsup:

Have a great weekend!
