Thanks Jack!Cool pic Dave![]()
I agree, Buck's charcoal dymondwood was my favorite in their 300 line.Just got this one yesterday... It's a shame Buck discontinued the charcoal diamondwood 300 series. I have several and they're all put together much better than any of my other 303s, 309s or 305s...

Thanks for your kind words ! That is one of my favorite representations. One could ponder it for years and not see all that is in itThe Imperial has a beautiful patina, giving it a real antique feel. As I looked at it, I pondered the pillar of equilibrium.
Love it !!!! Great photo tooPocket wear and pitted blades. 100+ year old bone handled jack knife by Bayonne Knife Co. Still functions well with good blade action and snap, the blade takes a sharp edge. I'd love to know where all it has been over the years? if only it could tell stories.View attachment 1219703
Really like those Ulster Barlow bolsters .

Thanks for the photo compliment, Dean.
A Vic Farmer is a very appealing pattern, probably my favorite of the Alox models I have.
I'm glad I read all those Asimov novels in "chronological order"; he did a great job of tying everything together with some of the novels written later (1980s).
Your Eisenhower is a pale beauty!
Preeminent pair of Fall fotos, Dean! That tree within a tree is unusual, as is the shadow pattern Case, at least in my experience.

Thanks for the comment on my knife and photo Gev. Trying to get nice photos that show a knife in a complimentary fashion is part of the enjoyment of collecting for me. Another part of it is viewing all the fine knives and photos posted by others here.Love it !!!! Great photo too![]()
