Osprey Knife & Tool Warthog & stag Lloyd Sowbelly today.
Very nice Osprey and Lloyd Shawn:cool::thumbsup:

I don’t know how many of you know about Linus the Lambsfoot. You can read more about him and his adventures in the Guardians of the Lambsfoot thread. Linus is an Ebony standard sized Lambsfoot and he is a visitor in my home for the next couple of weeks. You will be seeing him frequently. Here is Linus with my Ashley’s Choice Lambsfoot on his first day in Tennessee! :) Y’all have a great day! :D

Wonderful picture, Ron! You've captured that chocolate Ebony beautifully and that AC is never hard to look at.

Thanks Dylan, those two combine together very nicely too :)

Thank you, Jack! That Gunstock and Lamb would do anyone a service by accompanying them in inclement weather. I hope you get some breaks in the clouds soon!

Osprey Knife & Tool Warthog & stag Lloyd Sowbelly today.

Terrific pairing, Shawn! That Warthog is a fine looking knife, as is the Lloyd.

Something rather simple for me today, simple yet effective.

Great seeing you back Stuart, quite a cool pair; I've never seen such a robust Colonial as your "coke bottle" hunter, very nice!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

That Hamilton Colonial is quite a prize.

It’s great to see you Stuart! I thought you might have went into hibernation for the winter! ;) I’m glad you’re enjoying that Case my friend! I remember that big ole advertising hunter. I think that’s the only one like that I’ve seen. It’s in beautiful shape as well!:thumbsup: I’m craving some good chili dogs. I’ll give you a call in a few days! :D

That's some wonderful wood for Wednesday.:thumbsup:

Both wearing wonderful wood Stuart; the Boker is really an extraordinarily handsome piece!:):thumbsup:

Thanks, folks. The Böker is clad in Thuya burl.

Wonderful wood, Ron.

Always time for a treat or two. :D

Sweet and Lovely, Alain. You really captured the nacre's glow.

I'm toting a couple of wood covered cutters for Wednesday; a beefy Case Hunter from the late 60s and a lightweight Portuguese slicer from Mam.:)

That's a very nice looking Case 65. I have a few, but none that nice.

I usually pair a smaller/user with my fancier carry. The Camillus Office Knife is a good candidate for that job but it's always been a nail breaker. I pulled it out today and all of a sudden it has the smoothest w&t. Halloween ghosts???View attachment 1226875

Well, Alan, that Lloyd would smooth out my W&T, too.

Bloodwood #29 and a PAL Navy Utility today

That's helpful looking PAL, Steve.

Gorgeous, Harvey.

An eye-cayching picture, r8shell, of a handsome foot o'lamb.

jim Dunlap tonight and a Mike z tomorrow. Both blade show pickups.

Stunning acquisitions.

Glorious grain, Dylan.

When I saw that my rotation schedule had already dealt me a couple of sowbellies, I decided to make one of my "free choice" knives this week a recently-acquired Black Box Winchester sowbelly stockman:

You are pretty well stocked up, GT. I'd like to hear the tales that the BB Winchester could tell.

I have to say that your Scouts are, as always, superb, JJ. And that's the truth, Scout's honor.

A High Carbon Cattle knife, and Voos Jack knife. Both have steel liners which might mean they were made during WWII when brass was needed for casings.

Despite the frosty background, those handsome old gents warmed my heart.

Nice pairing, Ron. You are a lucky host.

That lambsfoot looks like it is on fire. Radiant!

Sweet picture, Harvey.

I agree with Dean - very nice, Gev.

Today. I'm totin' another older knife that Half/Stop Half/Stop helped me uncover in some old display boxes. I'm not a patina patron, although I understand that it is a bit like rust bluing to protect some metals. However, I did not have the heart to polish away the honestly earned fading of the brass covers on this barehead swell end jack from C.F. Wolfertz & Co. (1905-1944). It seems to have been sharpened by a loving owner long ago.

I have an armada of canoes on my person this week. Any of these float YOUR boat?

"Plain" Canoe of the Week is a Rough Rider Stroke of Luck canoe in smooth green bone:

"Fancy" Canoe of the Week is a Schrade-Wostenholm I*XL stag canoe that happens to have my birth day and month as serial number stamped on a bolster (thanks, cchu518 cchu518 ):

As a "free choice" knife this week, I grabbed a Case Rough Black canoe (thanks, Alan):

I managed to try out an RR canoe in bone recently on sending a traditional bundle up to Canada for a forum member to try.

Great fit and finish, even grinds and most importantly arrived hair shaving sharp!

Thanks for the compliment Dylan! Ole Linus is quite photogenic. ;) I love Cases Yellow Delrin, especially the CV offerings. Always simple but effective!

Nice pairing, Ron. You are a lucky host.
Thanks Stuart! :)

Lovely knife Stuart !

Thanks, Steve.

You are commanding a fine flotilla, GT. (And totin' a lot of knives - 4 sowbellies/stockman yesterday, 4 canoes today - a veritable cutlery caravan.) My favorite of you fleet is your "free choice":
