Totin’ some GEC knives that were hard to acquire.
Quite a startling bevy of beauties Leslie; wonderful GEC examples!;):thumbsup:
I have to say that your Scouts are, as always, superb, JJ. And that's the truth, Scout's honor.
Today. I'm totin' another older knife that Half/Stop Half/Stop helped me uncover in some old display boxes. I'm not a patina patron, although I understand that it is a bit like rust bluing to protect some metals. However, I did not have the heart to polish away the honestly earned fading of the brass covers on this barehead swell end jack from C.F. Wolfertz & Co. (1905-1944). It seems to have been sharpened by a loving owner long ago.

Thanks Stuart!!! What a uniquely spectacular brassy jack from Allentown; it exudes character!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
I have an armada of canoes on my person this week. Any of these float YOUR boat?

"Plain" Canoe of the Week is a Rough Rider Stroke of Luck canoe in smooth green bone:

"Fancy" Canoe of the Week is a Schrade-Wostenholm I*XL stag canoe that happens to have my birth day and month as serial number stamped on a bolster (thanks, @cchu518):

As a "free choice" knife this week, I grabbed a Case Rough Black canoe (thanks, Alan):

My Watchpocket Knife of the Week is the seldom-seen Rough Rider dogleg lockback mini canoe:

Really enjoying your armada of canoes today Gary; your lovely Sheffield "fancy" canoe is very cool!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I find myself reaching for either this one or my CK warhorse more than any others as of late. Shop day later today after a nap. Amber stag, clip, wharncliff and pen blades. Just as God intended. Ok, well maybe that is a stretch. But the combination sure suits my taste.

Thank you, Jack! That Gunstock and Lamb would do anyone a service by accompanying them in inclement weather. I hope you get some breaks in the clouds soon!

Thank you very much Dylan, apparently we got a whole month's worth of rain yesterday!

That lambsfoot looks like it is on fire. Radiant!

Thanks Jeff! Almost exclusively in a pocket sheath. I have a custom sheath with a pocket clip that I use also, mainly when I am wearing something that will cover the handle as it sticks out a little above my right front pocket. I forget the model name of this pocket sheath, I think it may be the Adirondack. I have 3 of these sheaths, they came with some of my City knives. I like that I can keep a small fixed blade and a folder together this way.

I like that. Looks sturdy and secure.

Thanks for the photos!

Stuart this is a beautiful and unique knife with a lot of character. I think the patina is definitely part of that character! :)
