Nice Dean :) Every time I see a pic of a Case Texas Jack, I feel guilty for not carrying my own more regularly

Thank you, Jack! The Texas Jack is really growing on me.

The girl that gave it to me sure is ;):)! Thank you kindly, Dean :thumbsup:

Hard to beat a fine Texas jack Sir !:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thank you, Gev!

Today. I'm totin' another older knife that @Half/Stop helped me uncover in some old display boxes. I'm not a patina patron, although I understand that it is a bit like rust bluing to protect some metals. However, I did not have the heart to polish away the honestly earned fading of the brass covers on this barehead swell end jack from C.F. Wolfertz & Co. (1905-1944). It seems to have been sharpened by a loving owner long ago.

Wow, Stuart. That is a great looking old knife; I've never seen one like that!:thumbsup:

I have an armada of canoes on my person this week. Any of these float YOUR boat?

"Plain" Canoe of the Week is a Rough Rider Stroke of Luck canoe in smooth green bone:

"Fancy" Canoe of the Week is a Schrade-Wostenholm I*XL stag canoe that happens to have my birth day and month as serial number stamped on a bolster (thanks, @cchu518):

As a "free choice" knife this week, I grabbed a Case Rough Black canoe (thanks, Alan):

Gary, my boat is floated by the Case Rough black canoe; and all of the other ones.:)

Today I'm carrying a buck 307 that is sporting polished edges.
