What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Just arrived yesterday, a few licks on the stones and into the pocket it goes.

That is a handsome stockman Jeff.
I had a nice little Boker stockman about thirty-five years ago, that I really liked. It was one of the very few knives that I ever managed to lose, and the only stockman I ever had.

Thank you! Some beautiful Robeson’s you are carrying today. OH
A couple of beauties !
Amazingly beautiful.....wow !!!! Thank you Sir :D:thumbsup:
Thank you kindly Bruce, Steve, and Gev!!!:D
Thank you JJ. I have a definite weakness for Your Robersons’ strawberry bone covered beauties.
Thank you Harvey!!! I certainly have a weakness for your 3 treats today; the Northwoods and HHB are fabulous and your bakery delight looks sweet!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Very cool shot of your 2 beauties Steve!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Rode on a boat float in the Morehead City Veterans Day Parade today, carried my SCC Minuteman (the old Ulster 58OT pattern but with stainless steel blades). Heading off tomorrow after lunch for four days in the woods & swamps deer hunting. OH

Perfect pocket tote for Veterans Day Bruce; very cool challenge coin too!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I'm totin' a Gary Cunningham small hunter (2017) and an Eldon Courtney folder (1981) with a Marlin 336C (.35 Rem., 1972) to a friend's farm to check the red dot sight in preparation for a possible feral hog hunt in a couple months. It's gorgeous day to be outside today in our neck of the woods (checking the sight is just an excuse).

I haven't posted anything here for at least 7 days, except some of the knives I'm carrying this week. Here's a superficial initial attempt at catching up on this thread.
I LOVE that hat, GT.
But you knew I would. ;)
...
Fab four, Gary! I always like seeing your RR marlin spike; it looks like it was beamed in from somewhere.
...
Thanks, John & Dean. :) I'm not surprised that John likes the hat, or more specifically, the Star Trek emblem pinned to it. Both the West Michigan Whitecaps (Class A minor league baseball team) cap and the Star Trek badge are gifts from my daughter from back when she was too young to have any gift ideas or money to pay for them (so they're really gifts from my wife, I'd guess).

5K Qs 5K Qs GT is a bad influence on us. ;) :D:thumbsup:
Man, a guy doesn't show up for a few days and public opinion of him just plummets!:(

I'm still "roughing it" for a couple of more weeks. :)

I like it too. It's like Budget Ebony. :D

Thank you, GT. :)
Nice to see Cracker Jack back out with his beautiful stag clothing.:thumbsup:
Thanks for the info, John. :) Budget Ebony is a nice phrase. ;) I'm glad I'm not camping in the garage, since our recent temps have been about 25 degrees below "normal" for this time of year.
Thanks for the Cracker Jack props. :)

Haven’t posted in a while, been in Arkansas for a few weeks with my in laws and now back in this busy congested city. I miss the wide open spaces, fresh air and slower pace in the natural state of AR. Had this one with me for the past few weeks.
Welcome back, Nick! :) That's a fine Eric's Jack, but those aren't the original stag covers, are they? Very cool!:thumbsup::cool:

...
5K Qs 5K Qs - Thank you GT. Great trio with Joker as the leader of the pack.
...
Tremendous threesome today; I think the Joker and the Lamb are "neck and neck" for the win!;):thumbsup:
...
I appreciate your positive assessments, Harvey & JJ. :)

The Imperial Serpentine Jack is quite the looker.
Thanks, Harvey. :) It's only 3.25" closed, but it's quite an iconic pocket knife for me!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

So that is how it all began; happenstance almost 6 years ago led to a great journey in knifedom. :)
Hard to predict the implications of seemingly minor incidents sometimes! ;) And when I decided to start carrying a knife again, I thought I'd occasionally find an old one here or there that I could clean up and "rescue". But I've actually found very few of those, and have purchased far more new knives than I would have predicted the day I cleaned up the Imperial.

A couple of Jacks today, a PAL and a Schrade Cutco

Couple of fine old knives with charismatic covers, Steve!!:cool::thumbsup:

Case Tribal Lock in Navy bone.

Thank you, Gary. Always a good idea to get something you want when you can. :)
Congrats on that beautiful navy bone Tribal Lock, Dean, and thanks for the good advice!:cool::thumbsup: I guess it's only fair that if my Case mini copperhead in navy bone inspired you to get one of your own, then your (and Jeff's black mamba black mamba ) Tribal Lock with the blue jigged bone and red shield are inspiring me to "pull the trigger" on one of those. I've had navy bone Case canoe and Tribal Lock on my wish list at a couple of dealers for quite a while, but I think I'm going to have to move them to my cart for the upcoming holidays! :D:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I wonder if Popeye Doyle had one of these:

A French Collection! ;)
You have a nice international assortment, too, Gary. That Joker in your post is quite becoming!
Thanks, Vince. :) Those are 3 impressive musketeers you have there!:cool::cool: Maybe you should name them Liberté, Egalité, and Fraternité!? :D I've seen the Laguiole in your past posts, but the Opinel seems to be showing up frequently in the past week; are the Opinel and Douk-Douk new acquisitions? How do you like the Opinel so far? Every time I use one of my Opinels, I get the feeling that if I just cared about function, about cutting stuff, then Opinel is the only knife I need.

GEC #15 today in my pocket!;)

I'm nuts about that top knife, José; what a gorgeous jack knife!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I carried this pair last week for Halloween. I had almost forgotten how much I like the farmer, as I carry a pioneer x almost always. I find the scissors on the pioneer x eminently useful, but the saw on the farmer is great for cutting zip ties.

Dramatic duo, Tom!:cool::cool: Thanks for the little comparative review of Pioneer X and Farmer.:thumbsup:;)

And thanks, Tom, for my Big Knife of the Week, which isn't all that big, but is relatively long: a Case slimline trapper in CV and yellow delrin:

Miscellaneous Knife of the Week is this brass knife from Novelty Knife Company:
