One of our Daughters and her Husband are here for the weekend and we had to take a little drive today for this .

Have these in my pockets today . 77 Red Sawcut & 14 Blackwood ? or Ebony ?Barlows .

Sorry for the horrible colors in most of the pictures .
Needless to say , we did indulge ourselves .

Pecan is the “King of Kringle” in my humble opinion.

Here's to all Veterans! I appreciate your service to the United States and dedication to of our Constitution.

I am going to tote this Osage Orange 73 for the rest of the the holiday weekend. I hope everyone has a great day tomorrow.

Old Engineer Old Engineer , Harry, we do not have Kringles in my part of the country. I sure hope to sample one some day. However, I am happy to know that there are some good things that have not been mass produced and are not available everywhere. There was a time when our King Cakes were unique to our area, as well as crawfish, boudin, etc, etc.... I think the scarcity makes them more special. (Kind of like some of our knives right?!)

Your humble opinion is pretty much right on . It is , in my experience , the most liked Kringle to take to meetings either at work or Church or Family Gatherings . The ones we picked up today were Pecan and Raspberry .

They may be ordered from at least 2 Kringle companies in Racine , Wisconsin and we think that the best one is in the pictures . They are not cheap but they are a cheap Bucket List item my friend . I am sure that there are some foods from your area that I would like to try . You also could come to the Rendezvous next year .

Congrats on that beautiful navy bone Tribal Lock, Dean, and thanks for the good advice!:cool::thumbsup: I guess it's only fair that if my Case mini copperhead in navy bone inspired you to get one of your own, then your (and Jeff's @black mamba) Tribal Lock with the blue jigged bone and red shield are inspiring me to "pull the trigger" on one of those. I've had navy bone Case canoe and Tribal Lock on my wish list at a couple of dealers for quite a while, but I think I'm going to have to move them to my cart for the upcoming holidays! :D:thumbsup::thumbsup:

And thanks, Tom, for my Big Knife of the Week, which isn't all that big, but is relatively long: a Case slimline trapper in CV and yellow delrin:

My pocket totes for today are a scout and a big jack; an Imperial made Hammer Brand and a Camillus made Remington, both manufactured in the 1945-55 time frame.:)

Very attractive pair JJ
