What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Happy New Year! You are right about that 44. I had one like yours. Ebony on that frame is flat out beautiful. I should get another and hang onto it. Who knows, my nails and joints might improve enough to manage it. What I have is not curable but I have been managing it for four years. I am fortunate that I can enjoy our hobby. Learning about and having traditional knives brings me a lot of joy and being on the porch is icing on the cake.

Although I favor two or three blades I love that Ram Foot. Selling mine was another mistake. But I have learned that you have to keep and use a knife before you understand it’s worth to you, as you obviously understand. Beautiful user!

You inspire me greatly, my friend. I am praying for continued strength and peace for you.

These two wanted a bit of sunshine today.

Happy and safe New Year to everyone! Hopefully, 2020 is better than 2018 and 2019!

When I turn 60 (in October), I will say I'm 39, like Jack Benny. :)
And by then we will have celebrated our 60 th wedding anniversary .

I still remember many years ago when I turned 40, suddenly realizing that I was older than Jack Benny was when he died.
It took me a little while but , that is pretty good .

The last knife I carry in 2019 is the latest knife I picked up. Another Schrade 897 Uncle Henry that’s wicked sharp. Handles are a bit more knobby than the last one I bought, but it’ll make a good user. Be safe tonight everyone. I’m just staying home watching some old Kirk Douglas movies tonight....
