What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Just these two today. I'm not usually a two knife kinda guy, but I'm really liking this combo - the peanut for regular cutting tasks, and the Vic for its tools, should I need them.

Kris, I love the bone on that #72, how are you liking it so far?
That is my new grail knife as I am very pleased with GEC's 440C steel...and prefer larger single blade's...
Duane, I am really liking the 72, gave my 1095 Spring Green #72 to my friend on his wedding day the other weekend, so this is now my sole #72. Really liking GECs' 440C. The ruby red bone is quite atractive. Well centered blade and no play. Its a winner.

This is what's in my pocket today. Dowell mini-trapper with a pen instead of spey. I can't be sure but I think this is the only example of this pattern Bret has made.

I like it!
I'm sure you get a lot more use from the Pen than a Spey any day.

And I happen t be toting a knife from the same maker today myself:

ok, I will get a Peanut asap. I've gone too long.

You don't have a Peanut?! Gotta fix that asap, may I suggest a yeller in CV?

Hmm, I might just carry the yellow fellow today :D

Right now I've got two favorites, Schatt and Morgan Gunstock in anticipation of the GEC Outlaw

For you Doug........

That is the COOLEST handle material i've seen in a long time...GEC really are pulling out the big guns, it looks like the trippy old celluloid handles of antiquity.

Must get myself a GEC synthetic, hows it handle wear in the pocket?
